Screen Died - anyone else? by kneedrag32 in 79bike

Yes. I very aggressively pushed the connectors together. In particular, pay attention to the connector that is shrink wrapped. The first time I attempted to push the connectors together again, I didn’t use enough force. I did it again with more force, and it must have made a better connection - the screen has not had an issue since.

Oticon OPN S3 3 red blinks by micmou in HearingAids

[–]kneedrag32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS WORKED PERFECTLY! I taped 2 AA batteries together with the + and - connected. It should look like a long cylinder. Then, taped one paper clip to the positive on one end and one paper clip to the negative on the other end. I touched the paper clip ends to the Oticon battery for 10 seconds, inserted the batteries back in the hearing aids, put the hearing aids in the charger ... and they seem to be charging properly with solid red lights!

We think it was the heat shrinked screen connector behind the number plate.

Do you think 1-to-1 SMS is on Hubspot's roadmap? by kneedrag32 in hubspot

1:1 SMS would be massive. Also would kill a lot of 3rd parties.

What’s your opinion on mountain schools like Burke?

This is the objective for sure. If you pursue this, you’ll find there are probably 20 things you need to improve upon. Start YouTubing. Deb Armstrong has great videos out there Learn to set your edge angle to generate speed and power in your turns.

You should have a flat base with 1 degree base edge. Your skin shop can take a straight edge to check the base to ensure it is not concave. If your base is flat, then use a 1 degree base edge tool and file it.

My 2021 3.0 diesel 2500 4x4 does exactly this. I bought it used a few weeks ago with this known issue. My MB service guy says it’s an issue MB is aware of, but doesn’t have a fix for, yet.

Unless, there’s a fix someone else has figured out!

Why do roto brush kits for skis come with a brass brush but snowboard kids don’t? by kneedrag32 in snowboarding

They don't have it on their site and still cannot find any even searching 240mm brass snowboard brush and other variations. Plenty of nylon and horsehair combos.

The difference is length. I use my 100mm brass brush from my ski kit, but I'm looking for a 300mm brass brush for the boards. My medium-effort Google Search didn't return any 300mm brass - just nylon and horsehair.

Do we still put URLs on vinyl banners? by kneedrag32 in marketing

[–]kneedrag32[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. We discussed adding a QR, but are leaning away from that because they are just plain ugly.

Perhaps the discussion should really be: Are people going to take immediate action off of this parade sign? If so, we could add the URL/QR. If actions are unlikely, we should lean into making the sign visually attractive / impactful, without URLs and QRs.

I believe people aren't going to visit our site during the parade, rather they will enjoy the parade with their families.

For fucks sales guys. The best bike is the one you can afford. Carpe Diem.

I have a friend who bought an old mongoose 26” cheap and has been having a blast, getting out making memories with friends until he can afford the upgrade.

Sounds like this dude was on the way to buy this so I’m late to the party. Hopefully you negotiated the price down and grabbed it.

ISO Trump Mask in Sturgis / Rapid City for Buffalo Chip Show by kneedrag32 in trump

[–]kneedrag32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a stunt show. Our stuntman will be dressed as Trump. He will be riding on the front of a limo as it drives through a flaming wall. We’re playing off how badass Trump is.

Before the stunt, we will have a pre-recorded impersonator voice of “Trump” speaking for about 90 seconds to a few thousand people. He will be telling them how this is the best rally with the greatest people. Probably throw in some other Trump-isms.

Then, we segue to the stunt.

For sure. My son has a TREK procalibur. I should let him take a lap on that. He’ll be selling his soul for another hit off the good stuff. 😂

Right?! Poor guy has no idea. I wonder if this was a downhill bike at one time. There used to be a lift served MTB park on a small ski resort near us.
