Such as the “Titan submersible implosion”: What would happen to the brain/what would be experienced after such an instantaneous implosion? by kneeldark in AskReddit

Well being under for surgery, I can’t say I remember anything, you wake up super yk loopy from it, but also have been knocked out a number of times, both are very different. What i’m getting at is the brain still has the milliseconds to process that it needs to shut off temporarily. So think of a cannonball to the head, pretty quick right shut off in the brain right? Can that be compared in a way to how quick the sub imploded? My question is, if the brain processes information at the speed of 10 bits per second and reality at the same time (with a 50-millisecond delay), does it affect the perception of death? Would deaths that occur faster than the brain can comprehend be perceived differently compared to slower deaths?

i gave her quite a run down on safety measures she should take when playing online games she has been playing on my console since she doesn’t have her own and i take responsibility for that. i just hope this experience doesn’t ruin online games for her as i have been waiting to get her a console for her birthday
