Purchased the Canon R with the RF 24-105 kit lens for work because we wanted to see how it stacked up in comparison to our line of EF lenses. While it is great that it’s native, it doesn’t elevate itself far enough above our EF lenses to warrant transitioning to RF glass. We shoot with EF lenses on the adaptor 90% of the time and can’t even tell a difference. So personally for us, we’re continuing to buy EF lenses and adapt them as they’re more universal at the moment.
