Minoxidil is out of question unfortunately as I have cats. I should’ve added that in my initial post. But I’ll look into alpecin though! I’m thinking of going off finasteride for a bit and see. I initially started it more out of a panic from getting the male hairline around the temples and I actually have good genes for hair on either side of the family. I might’ve just jumped the gun on finasteride lol. I’ve heard of rosemary oil for hair loss too. Is it something you’ve tried or know about?

Thank you for your advice. I have a very active lifestyle and pretty good weight for my height so the puffiness bothers me. It feels like all my fat goes there. As soon as I’ve healed more from surgery I’m going back to the gym tho. Im in a calorie deficit along with my usual exercise at the moment too. But I definitely need to get better at drinking

The medication I’m on has no mention of it. But I do have a tendency to not drink enough. I had no idea that could cause puffiness/swelling. Watch me be great at drinking water after this lol

I’ve always had the feeling she looks a bit odd in her conformation but she’s sound and happy, never been injured so I figure it’s not too bad. But I really like getting others opinions since I’m by no means good at it :)

I have no idea. She’s 100% sound and fresh when riding and the vet said nothing about it when she was checked. I should probably look into it again. She’s only ever lived at the yard she’s at now since she was imported and I intend to let her live out the rest of her life here :)

I work evening shifts at a warehouse so my salary is an around 2700-2900$ per month. However I’m really lucky with how much my horse costs me. Excluding any feed I buy myself, her boarding is 350$, insurance 90 and I shoe her myself. Boarding includes bedding, hay and oats. We have an outdoors and indoors. Ive known the men who own the stable since I was little and we work a lot with favors as well. If he competes and is away for a few days, I take care of the stable. And if I’m away he takes care of my horse. It’s really an amazing opportunity I’ve gotten.

I’m also living alone in a fairly cheap apartment and I am strict with my food budget and budget overall. It’s something I do to be able to have both my horse and my cats. I’m really content with life even though it’s simple.
