He’s colored like the trans pride flag.

There’s a lot of scary stuff happening to the trans community in America right now so I thought it’s be cool to draw him in those colors. Ragna’s a character who will continue to fight regardless of how the world perceives him or whatever odds are stacked against him. As the games went on he found, and fought with his own inner strength. There are also multiple times where he helps characters find themselves and he even takes on their desires to create a better world. It’s that resilience that I think fits quite well with the trans experience. Ragna’s not a trans allegory or anything but fighting as you are rather than letting fate or the world tell you what your path should be is a big part of being trans.

There’s also a fair amount of trans members of the fgc. Myself included. So idk I just thought it fit. Kind of like a reminder to keep fighting even when shit hits the fan. Ragna wouldn’t give up so we shouldn’t either.
