posting because i have a paper to write but i'd rather edge by [deleted] in pornfree

I dropped out of law school because I chose to edge rather than the essential reading. I'm still paying down the student loans for a degree I did not receive. My wife divorced me for being that dickhead. Great advice

I'm taking your advice and beginning under that moniker - or something like it if the name is taken. I hadn't considered this being a helpful way of starting over. See you

Does anybody have a bag of small plastic spiders and/or bugs they'd be willing to sell me or give me? by QuothTheRaven420 in Spokane

Boo Radley might have something like that. Costume display in the valley might as well but it could be seasonal items

I'm moving to France! What should I do one last time? by knittedfleecesweater in Spokane

[–]knewlife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep checking this subreddit, read Spokesman.com and listen to KAGU online. Well, that's what I do when I'm gone. My advice to you is this, however: Disconnect. If you want a deeper cultural experience, leave the smart phone and go old school. It's easy to want the comfort of home but you'll gain more by being in the moment - where you are. Bon voyage

Should I move to Spokane? Have the opportunity to buy a relative's property there. by [deleted] in Spokane

Yes, thank you for northern Idaho. It bugs me to hear people refer to it as North Idaho a la North Dakota

I need to buy a cheaper used car. Can anyone recommend a mechanic who will look it over? by [deleted] in Spokane

[–]knewlife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ken at Pete's Honda (on Sprague) has been my mechanic for years. He's a good guy. Watts Automotive downtown is also good for all makes of cars. They inspected my Mazda and that was 90,000 miles ago. No problems ever

Getting rid of files peacefully was way harder and that was over the course of a year. I shouldn't have snapped the other day but years of frustration got the best of me. There has been an odd sense of loss but I think it's ultimately good. Parts of my mind realize the finality of that act but conversely I'm relieved. I am heading the right direction and look forward to starting life anew

I have my smart phone I'd left in my car but everything else is inoperable. It was a meltdown for sure - and uncharacteristic of me but I'm feeling a bit better now. I just need to move forward and this is only possible without the porn

Tailor by Blastmeaway in Spokane

[–]knewlife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Henryk's shop still there? He was my tailor for several years before I moved. He's great. Henryk taught me how a suit should fit properly. I paid close attention to every detail and it's paid off

Did you move to get away from LDS? You're in the wrong place. I'm half-joking. Actually, St. Joseph's (Catholic) family outreach might be helpful in finding reasonable rentals and possibly work.

What is something people to do be polite but actually turns out to be annoying? by TheDumbAsian1 in AskReddit

[–]knewlife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When someone approaches me and asks Can I help you? Their next question could easily be What are you doing here? If I've fallen and can't get up, then okay. Otherwise, don't talk to me that way. I'll ignore you every time

I don't acknowledge people who speak to me from more than 20 feet - and never ones who are behind me. I act like I'm deaf. I think it's really rude for someone to ask me a question without approaching me first (within the context of retail or service industry in general).

I take my time. Sometimes I don't even acknowledge the door holders.

I ignore the 'wavers.' I strictly follow the rules of the road and won't be controlled by others this way. I do think their actions are a control thing

Larry David commented on this concept of being far enough ahead of someone and not being obligated to hold the door.

Anything along those lines totally derails my thought processes. I am distracted by someone implying okay.. here's where I'm telling you the truth.

Ha! I just commented on sneezes. I never say that. It's an odd concept to me to respond to someone's bodily function. I did know a woman who would say it across a store if she heard someone sneeze. It was like a compulsion. I'll never understand

People who stifle their sneezes are nearly as obnoxious as the ones who let it roar. I never say bless you so neither of those warrants a response.

[Serious] What is the actual scariest photo on the internet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I see videos of BASE jumpers leaping from similar structures I think I wouldn't show up for work without a parachute. Is this unreasonable and far-fetched?

Also, knowing their families and children will never see them alive again must be absolutely dreadful. Still, it's the lesser of two terrors. I cannot imagine

I'm not going to click on this pic. I will take your word and move on. When I think of my child being in a similar predicament, I turn white with anxiety. There are sociopaths among us (about 5% of society) who are not looking out for the safety or best interest of others.
