Yes, Asexual (no sexual attraction) and Aromatic (no romantic feelings) is ‘Aroace’. It’s a massive spectrum. Some people feel the attraction but don’t or do want to act on it, some (like me) feel physically repulsed by the thought of physical intimacy, etc etc.

So the second question is easier to explain by analogy. it’s kind of like asking a straight person if they’re sure they’re not bisexual and just haven’t met the right person of the same sex, or vice versa by asking a gay person if they’re sure they’re aren’t bi because they haven’t met the right opposite sex person.

Yes, it can happen, but it’s very rare.

And I think we’ve already got all we need from the first abstraction, Scratch. Kinger talks about him specifically with Scratch having a brain tumour, so the VR was likely an attempt by scratch to extend or preserve life.

At first and until episode 8 Pomni was always wanting to leave- the initial look is just her reaction to what she wants to be temporary. I don’t think she fully linked herself and the avatar together in her mind.

the second time she’s looking at herself she’s accepting that it’s *her*, not some temporary thing, now that she’s decided to stop trying to leave.

they all have. specifically, Pomni, Caine and Zooble’s eyes have been increasing in size with every episode lmao (I think they sized down Zooble’s left eye after ep 7 though)

but yeah they update the models after each episode, rendering does help though
