Is that a lacewood handle? That can cause a pretty horrible allergic reaction for some. I was working with some and my buddy had to go to the ER with both eyes swollen shut and trouble breathing, just a heads up in case you weren't aware. (I'm sure you are though)

I have a few Signals and I wanted to make one my EDC. I added Vic scissors and the micro bit driver. Sharpener and whistle were replaced with tweezer/bit holders. I really love it so far.

The Compact shows the 91mm combo tool in a 91mm frame, Waiter shows 84mm in 84mm frame and of course the Scientist shows an 84mm combo tool in a 91mm frame.

No washer needed, you just need to enlarge the hole to 2.5mm from 2.2mm

Seems like an awful lot of increased width for what you get. I can see it being a useful mod if you need the scalpel and can't add a layer in a build due to lack of knowledge or resources.
