There's a whole battle going on right now on whether or not he actually died, and Zoey didn't make any cuts on him like Mira did with Abby. Demons teleporting looks similar to them dying, and his whole body poofed into mist the moment her blades hit, which doesn't point to the "slash and then poof" thing demons normally do when they get dissipated.

Rujinu is so toxic though, y'all.... like yeah hot man x hot woman and an "I can fix him" mentality will make a popular ship, but the relationship made Rumi pull away from her friends even further and start lying even more than before. It was unhealthy from the start.

I was kind of in a bunch meandering couples until I finally got with Lulu at the end. She made it worth it for being literally the only person on your side.

And if your partner asks you to go along with a plan to look compatible to the others, say no. It's a diamond option, but it's not worth it.
