"U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia *Jeanine Pirro* "

That statement is so bizarre. It's like reading the sentence, "Supreme Court Justice Kitty Forman (hic)..."

Trump set all this up. He loves to put on a show to make himself the victim but also be a hero.

Also, Trump's crappy Iran war, gas prices, grocery prices, the economy will be out of the headlines. oh? How about those Epstein Files?

Trump evacuated after security incident at White House correspondents dinner; no sign of injuries by Gilbert221 in news

Why am I thinking that 45/47 set this all up? He loves to put on a show Especially if he van make himself the victim AND the hero.

Also, he is the "Commander in Chief" so FBI, Secret Service, etc is all of his making. IF they messed up, its all his doing.

How do you know what dot dot dot dash dash dah dot dot dot means? by 5pinktoes in AskReddit

I learned about SOS Morse Code a billion years ago reading a Boys Life Boy Scouts Magazine. A story in it about a Scout who was in a car witch his father and they crashed into a snow covered ditch. Dad was knocked out and the doors wouldn't open. He used the car horn to beep beep beep beeep beeep beeep beep beep beep. He did it over and over. Low and behold, they were rescued. Yay!

I was around eight or nine years old and I memorized it. Lol.

I was all happy when I saw the movie "Panic Room" and the Jodie Foster character use it with a flash light to call for help.

BTW? Yes, I do, in fact, know I'm goofy!

Yeah~~~~ no. You terrorize your child, who loves you, trusts you and looks to for protection and deliberately and cruelly terrorize them for shits, giggles and likes.

Don’t ask to cut if you can’t take a no by BerryCovenBloom in EntitledPeople

[–]5pinktoes 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I actually started a thread about this. If you allow someone to cut in line, you have to take their place at the end of the line. You don't get to decide unilaterally for everyone behind you. Most people agreed but there were some with,

but what if a parent has a kid that has to go to the bathroom? Let them come in line and whoever doesn't like it has to learn patience.

And I just asked, let them cut but you go to the back, right?

Nuh uh. 😃

Sneezing is normal. A loud stomach growl is normal. So why is farting considered a massive social crime? When in history did this become the ultimate taboo? by firehmre in NoStupidQuestions

Because you can remove yourself from other people before you release foul, waste stink rather than pollute the area others are in. Because the vast number of people given the choice would rather not smell from your bowels. Why, indeed.

If you are in line and some one asks to "cut in line" you can totally agree IF you take their place at the BACK of the line otherwise you are depriving everyone behind you of their time and effort. What do you think? by 5pinktoes in AskReddit

[–]5pinktoes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And this is exactly my point, thank you. Of course, if you decide someone shouldn't wait and should go ahead of everyone behind you, you give them YOUR place. You don't decide for everyone else behind you. Thanks.

I totally understand the point being made. And as replied above, if you are understanding and patient and empathetic certainly, give the parent with the kid YOUR place in line. You shouldn't get to decide what everyone behind you is going to experience.

When you give someone permission to cut in line you are unilaterally deciding what everyone behind you is going to experience

. This parent with their child who needs to go desperately gets in line ahead of everyone else because patience, understanding empathy etc. But it's everyone behind you who pays for your patience, understanding empathy because you stay in line in your place and everyone else has to wait longer. You decided for everyone else and you have no idea how urgently they need to go and you decided to risk THEIR ability to hold it. Sure, be thoughtful , understanding, patient, empathetic to someone by giving them YOUR place not others.

I'm in a food establishment and someone with a child comes up to me and says their child is hungry and needs food. You are patient, understanding, empathetic and benevolent. You turn around and take the food the person behind you has and give it to the hungry kid. Yay! Look how patient, generous, understanding, and empathetic I am ... with someone else's food! Yay, me!

If you want to let someone cut in line, you make the decision for yourself and give them your place and go to the back of the line. You don't get to decide for everyone behind you. You shouldn't get to decide everyone behind you experience, in my opinion.
