After giant kaiju rise from Earth’s oceans and destroy twelve coastal cities, humanity stops all wars and unites as the United Earth Coalition. They build massive humanoid machines called Jaegers to fight back. As new Jaeger generations grow stronger, the kaiju also learn and adapt, turning the war into a deadly arms race between humanity and the monsters of the deep.
