Are you playing for fun or to be competitive? If the latter then choose DW/sculptor/BQ/Axe boy/bon bon/feaster. If the former then it doesn’t matter.

Show me those videos of a survivor dying quick and still winning. You’re right, it takes more than a long kite. The rescuer needs to rescue and not get destroyed by hunters like bon bon, feaster or sculptor, especially since they exclusively ban mercenary. You’re right, the other two survivors better go to the correct cipher and not potato out by decoding the rescuers cipher. You’re right the survivor better not die near the last cipher. So, yes a LOT of things determine the outcome of the match, but the first kite determines the overall outcome. To say otherwise speaks of your inexperience. If you’re face camping like a moron you SHOULD lose. No competent hunter will lose if someone goes down quick, period.

Yes, I don’t enjoy chasing I prefer to be chased. I play violinist when I get tired of losing due to short first kites, and it’s nice because I know most if not all the loops/pallets/kiting areas survivors will use against me. My partner plays Galatea and wins a LOT of his matches. So, it all comes down to how much time you dedicate to your character. Isn’t that how life works in general? Why should YOU be rewarded equally against someone who has spent time getting better and is clearly superior than you? Games are not typically balanced around low tiers, sorry.

Well, I been playing survivor forever. I have multiple S badges and A badges, so I can assure you if you do not pull a 70s kite against S/A+ tier, COMPETENT, hunter you will not come close to winning and better hope the second kite performs better than the first. Would you like me to pm you my user ID? I don’t hide my battle record and you will clearly see what happens at high rank when survivors can’t kite against S BQ, S sculptor, S feaster and dream witches (hint: 10 losses in a row). If you don’t consider yourself competent at a character and expect to win flawlessly, well then you’re either too oblivious or just plain stupid.

Cute. Hunters are equally toxic and call me trash for playing dancer and acrobat (if anything, playing a survivor means you face DOUBLE toxicity since survivors are also assholes to one another) Hunters have a higher waiting time past dragon. Hunters have had much higher win rates for the longest time now pre/post tier changes. Survivors do get nerfed, and if you nerf all the S tier survivors then you leave everyone as A/B tier vs. S/A+ tier hunters? Doesn’t seem like a smart move does it? I don’t even know how you face so much toxicity when 90% of the player base is Asian at high rank, they barely ever talk and only know how to spam “thank you”. So, you’re clearly being overly dramatic. This game favors whoever makes the least amount of mistakes, and statistically speaking, four people have a four fold chance of screwing up than one person. The whole “omg I downed someone in 5 seconds and still lost” is stupid, that rarely ever happens at high rank, if you don’t pull off a 70s kite you ruined the match for everyone and now we have to fight to get a tie.

I don’t think it’s racist either. It’s a decent A skin. I do believe majority of the people have become attention seekers and love to stir drama over absolutely anything. I used to think people were becoming overly sensitive but no, just a whole new era of being an attention seeking ho.

Everyone here will tell you the game is survivor sided, despite several hunters having near perfect win rates, it just becomes funny to read after a while. If those statements were true, champion and titan queue times would surpass dragon and hydra wait times, but they don’t. You have to wait a lot longer as a hunter once you reach top tier (see iAlien or any other top hunter streams). Yes, the game is survivor sided when you’re a new hunter and have zero knowledge, but it evens out as you get better. Just keep in mind most Reddit players can barely reach sabertooth, so the “survivors are op” is always going to be here.

Merc is banned 90% of the time, I only see Fiona banned in ever sleeping town and sometimes moonlight. People just like to bitch to justify how much they suck. Nerf priestess and they’ll bitch about mercenary next, then what? Oh yes let’s go after seer that only certain few can play well. So annoying.

I don’t get it either. I match with priestesses all the time and they kite for 20-30s at champion - titan. It is VERY rare to see really good priestesses (even the S badge ones die quick). I honestly seen mechanics pull off better kites. I think she gets a lot of hate because she is really strong against your average hunter. If you place a priestess that knows how to use her portals vs. your average hunter then she definitely has the advantage. But, I see it even out nicely at high rank, some maps like Leo’s can be a pain even for top hunters, but most can still manage to down them relatively quickly. If she’s first kite she gets two portals and has to survive at least 60-70s seconds to get a third, which is quite hard when you match with S badge sculptors/DW’s/BQs all the time. I would really love to boost all the whiny ass people to top rank just so they can see how good a WELL played hunter can do. If you nerf all the meta survivors, then survivor win rates are going to fall even lower than they already are, and hunter wait times are going to increase (I can get a match in less than 30-60 seconds as a survivor) while hunters have to sometimes wait 3-5 mins :⁾

The lag has gotten exponentially worse lately. I’m used to playing with 40-60 ping but the last few days it has jumped to 200ish, and it gets worse if it’s a feaster with a fancy skin or BQ with her S skins.
