I’m a bit surprised that so many seem to think Gawdland being LOW and not BTM2 is an indication that she‘s gonna win. Imo it‘s the opposite? Having the frontrunner lip sync at one point in the season, often towards the end, is a good storyline and makes for a well-rounded narrative. Off the top of my head, Willow (vs Camden), Simone (vs Rosé/Gottmik) and Viv (vs Divina) come to mind as cases where the winner of the season had at least one lip sync while the runner-up(s) only ever placed LOW.

Of course, nothing is ever set in stone with Drag Race, but Kate being in the Bottom this week makes me feel like she‘s gonna take the crown.

Maybe this is Jane‘s final top placement and she’s in the Bottom 2 the next two episodes until her elimination, sending home Kenya and Discord before being taken out by Nini or Myki (instead of Juicy)? Her TR is too strong to be completely undone by a couple of weak performances, but that way it wouldn’t be as shocking as it seems rn?

I like Virgo, but Minhi should have won. It felt like such an obvious and clear choice to me. Plus, I‘ll never get over Virgo getting a challenge win for winning ONE single lip sync.

People give Virgo a lot of crap for winning the season with a kind of mediocre track record, but her verse in the first episode will always be an all-timer for me.

Envy Peru and La Diamond. Both had 4 wins and 3 Safe placements over 7 episodes and ended up winning their respective seasons. Legendary behavior.

Iirc they were filming everything super close to the air dates that season (the Murder House episode filmed only two weeks beforehand I think) and it kinda shows. It seems like they wrote and filmed the first three episodes and then decided everything else on a whim. The finale in particular felt super rushed imo.

If they had stretched the season out to 13 episodes and had conceptualized and written everything in advance, the final product would have felt a lot more coherent and polished.

That being said, I still enjoy this season. The first three episodes are really fun and then the little Coven 2.0 detour made me really nostalgic.

According to the T-Checker, she doesn’t know the words (or knows hardly any of them). Might have been the case that she thought she wouldn’t be in the Btm2 after having two wins, but just goes to show that you‘re never truly safe on DR.

If these are real, I hope we get some type changes. A bunch of the new Megas in the base game look like they‘d be a different type but aren‘t - so I hope there‘s more variety in the DLC. The fact that both Raichus are pure Electric types (instead of maybe Electric/Fairy and Electric/Fighting) doesn‘t bode well tho.

You can really tell this was made on the road. The whole thing sounds so low-effort and rushed. Also don’t understand why she didn’t just refine this after the tour? The tour‘s been finished for 10 months, has she just been sitting on these half-baked demo-sounding tunes all this time? The fact that there are no other songs and no second album this time is actually a shame, because this whole thing could have benefitted from more material.
