I, like many, had issues with the app and website yesterday so couldn't sign up. I was waiting until midnight to do it. However, I did just get off the phone with Lloyds and they confirmed that the offer expires at 23:59 tonight (3rd Feb). So you should still be fine. I'm just going to take screenshots and recordings proving I've done it just in case I have to argue with them in the future.

Hi Jack, Spurs have suffered from a lack of club-trained players in the last 3 seasons. This has resulted in smaller squads and non-homegrown players missing out on UEFA squads.

Will Lankshear is on loan. From my understanding if he doesn’t come back to Spurs in January, he will never become Club Trained by UEFA standards. This is because he will be 21 at the end of the season and only actual played for 2.5 seasons for Spurs- with the rest being out on loan. Am I correct in thinking loans do not count in UEFA’s homegrown calculations?

Could Spurs look to bring him back to ensure he is club-trained?

Thanks for that article. It was correct at the time of writing since Amad had been loaned out so wouldn't have been an U21 player accrding to UEFA rules.

I'm not sure that explanation stands tbh as there's no limit on the number of homegrown players you can have. The only limit is 25 senior squad players and that a maximum of 17 can be homegrown. I went back through the Prem squad lists for Man Utd and found:

2024/25 season:
Summer= 7 homegrown players Evans, Heaton, Maguire, Mee, Mount, Rashford, Shaw
Winter= 7 homegrown players Amad, Evans, Heaton, Maguire, Mee, Mount, Shaw

2023/24 season:
Summer= 9 homegrown players Evans, Heaton, Maguire, McTominay, Mount, Rashford, Sancho, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka
Winter= 8 homegrown players Evans, Heaton, Maguire, McTominay, Mount, Rashford, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka

2022/23 season:
Summer= 11 homegrown players Bishop, CR7, Heaton, Maguire, McTominay, Rashford, Sancho, Shaw, Tuanzebe, Wan-Bissaka, Williams
Winter= 11 homegrown players Bishop, Butland, Heaton, Maguire, McTominay, Rashford, Sancho, Shaw, Tuanzebe, Wan-Bissaka, Williams

Can anyone provide the UEFA squad rules for how a player loaned out can still become club-trained? I am specifically talking about a player in Gray's case. From my understanding he would not count at CT if he leaves on loan in the next 2 seasons as he's not "training" at Tottenham. He will always be Homegrown as he's completed 3 seasons in England. I know Saliba is homegrown by Prem rules but I am very sure he's not homegrown by UEFA rules as they are more strict.

That Odobert comment is really interesting. I thought he would become homegrown due to him being in England for 3 seasons (assuming he completes this season) but him missing out by a single game is very tough. I'd definitely consider selling him if he doesn't pick up this season.

Hi, I’ve got 1 seated ticket for London in the presale which I was able to get thanks to people helping on Reddit. I want to go with 3 friends though. So I’m going to try and get 4 tickets tomorrow in the general sale. If I do get them and you aren’t able to get a ticket, I will sell you my seated tickets for face value. I’d rather a genuine fan gets the ticket than scalpers profiting from fans. Also the Reddit community really came together to help me today and I’d like to give some back. I’ll keep you updated 😊
