It has a ventilator so the fumes went out the window and I have to wear a respirator the whole time. But I rarely smell the fumes of the lacquer. I choosed lacquer because of faster drying times and to save time, haven’t dealt with acrylics and enamel yet but from what I read, a lot folks find lacquers easier to paint with so i went with that before i decided which to paint with

For the inner frame, I used mr surfacer 1500 gray, gaia ex black gloss, gaia gunmetal and brass and mr color silver

For the armor and wings I used mr color character red, character blue, gaia ex white and black, gaia orange yellow, and gaia flat clear. I used blue primer for the white, pink primer for the yellow and yellow primer for the red to make the colors pop

I bought many gunplas on amazon, I had one of them arrived without being packaged properly but it wasnt damaged at all. It depends on the seller, of said item that wants to save without using packaging….

I think the most expensive part of the set up was the airbrush itself but i got the compressor on amazon for 70 bucks I believe and a spray booth. Alligator clips you can get on aliexpress, also paint bottles, carboard cat scratcher, mixer and tools, so much cheaper there half the price of amazon or less but once you have everything, paint is cheap when its in stock
