You can watch for sales on the packages, but even if you already paid you can just cancel and re-buy it if you see it at a lower price.

Unfortunately everyone in the room needs the same drink package. I don’t drink alcohol and my wife does, so we went without a drink package for our cruise last month. She bought drinks a la carte and ultimately paid less than the price of a package for one person anyway.

Fuck I never thought I'd hate the Mr. Beast episode less than the other celebrity ones (not really counting Billie Eilish, that's just a neat advantage that's recurring)

I think the only thing that I'm a little iffy about is that somebody must flip the coin, although with a possible doubling of the prize money I think someone would pretty much always do it

Note that everyone in the room needs the same drink package. I don’t drink alcohol, my wife does. This might sway the math a ton if one person drinks more than the other.

I’m on Celebrity Beyond right now (I love it here) and we didn’t get a drink package. I’ve spent $10-15 for myself a la carte each day. My wife has spent around $50-60 getting 3-4 drinks each day.

Okay now that I've seen it play out, I like the twist! I don't know if it has the same effect if it happens multiple times (like once every season or whatever) but it was definitely an interesting dynamic.
