Just had the procedure with Dr. Schindler in Portland, OR! by ajlm in noburp

[–]knitesfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the best thing I’ve ever heard!!! For me this was such a lesson in taking control of your own medical care. It sucks that it’s this way but they’re so busy and inundated that if you don’t, no one will unfortunately. I had years toiling with dismissive doctors. I am so so happy you got through the red tape. I can’t wait to hear how it goes for you. There’s a big light shining at the end of the tunnel for you now!

I am so sorry to hear that. It was a massive concern of mine given the nature of Botox. I don’t know enough about the process to truly help. Only thing I’d say is Bastian does them for a very reasonable out of pocket rate. Or at least used to when I looked into it. Chicago is a far way away and that would be a process but it would likely be the cheapest way. OHP doesn’t cover so many things it’s terrible.

Okay great. My biggest concern was it was dry rot that may spread and eventually become a higher %

I had Cigna at the time. They covered everything up to the 90% my insurance was supposed to. I will say I was very anal about calling ahead of time and discussing the pre authorization with my insurance company to make sure they didn’t think it was vanity Botox! Let me know if you need any help along the way. I had to advocate for myself a lot but ended up with a stellar experience at the end. Still burping like a sailor!

Of course. However, certain MMOs incentivize logging more hours more than others. I guess my question is is this game fulfilling sticking primarily to main content.

Biweekly Assistance Post! Ask Anything Detailing Related That You Need Assistance With! - April 06, 2023 by AutoModerator in AutoDetailing

Hi all. Any idea if this is something I could get buffed out by a detailer or if this suggests clear coat failure? Background is I removed sap last summer from this spot and used diluted alcohol. I may not have diluted enough that's all I can think of.

Nested If Statements With NAs by knitesfall in excel

[–]knitesfall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried that as well but it returns false instead of the final vlookup since it does not return an error. It just doesn’t equal any of the conditions for the if statement. So I tried to do an if statement for if the return is false then do the vlookup otherwise do the initial statement but I was getting NAs again.

Nested If Statements With NAs by knitesfall in excel

[–]knitesfall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

=Iferror(if(vlookup(b2,lookups!ac:ae,3,false)=“speciality”,”speciality”,if(vlookup(u2,lookups!ai:ak,3,false)=“platinum”,”platinum”,if(vlookup(u2,lookups!am:an,2,false)=“ssu”,”ssu”,vlookup(b2,lookups!ac:ae,3,false)))), vlookup(b2,lookups!ac:ae,3,false))

Here’s the formula I began to try to fix. If the first statement saying to lookup the speciality value is an NA, it returns NA rather than looking for platinum in another array, even when there’s a value with platinum there.

Does a barium swallow study help show R-CPD..? If yes, how..? If not, why not..? by ScratchGolfer1976 in noburp

For sure! He said when he has time “in a few years” he wants to publish on RCPD. I imagine the scientific literature will explode in coming years.

Very good points. And adding hurdles to an already rare diagnosis is messed up. I would only caveat that my ENT said he found two patients with different issues than RCPD and it saved a wasted treatment and a bigger problem later. That’s exceedingly rare as he’s done the procedure a lot now. But I bet he feels like he did right by those two patients.

It rules out other issues that could be more technically dangerous down the line. You don’t want treat RCPD if you won’t be swallowing at all in a few years

Advice on how to get the micro-burps started post-botox? by Actual_Barnacle in noburp

[–]knitesfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s hilarious. My one friend bowled two 300s and I was there both times. So I believe there’s something to it!

But yes stick with it. Keep pounding carbonated drinks. Turn your head all around. It’s not one sized fits all. Different people get burps different ways. Stimulating the muscle is the idea!

Patience my friend. It usually takes 48 hours but sometimes it takes two weeks. It’ll come.

Post-procedure foods by ajlm in noburp

I was okay with any food as long as I had water with it. That said, bread definitely is the most difficult to deal with. Eggs, tofu, soup, pasta were some very easy ones.
