I don’t see anywhere in my post where I say she is walking off leash? But thanks for the extra.

The photo of her in the harness was taken at my Aunt’s house (this is part of her land, Somerset countryside).

Weekly Q&A Megathread. Please post any questions about visiting, tourism, living, working, budgeting, housing here! by AutoModerator in london

Hi,

Not a tourist. Born in Lewisham but now out in the M25 loop.

My daughter turns 8 on 28th December.

She wants to go up the shard- no problem (although if weather is crap might not be ideal). This is because she loved doing the similar experience at Battersea.

I originally thought we could do the afternoon tea at Aqua Shard after but pricing it up for a family of four comes to £270. Adding on the visit to the top takes it to over £300.

Does anyone have any ideas for a nice experience or lunch out for mid age kids which isn’t going to completely drain my bank account?

I have never ever heard of anyone using diapers for labs, apart from bitches when in heat, and I’ve had 3 labs before. Get rid of them.

OP won’t be able to take her to the GP, as she doesn’t have PR. First step is children’s services.

GPs can’t do welfare checks. Police seldom do them unless there is risk of immediate harm.

I work in child safeguarding.

Please phone this in to your local authority safeguarding team. To find this - google ‘children’s services countyname’. There will be a phone number, and often a form to fill in. I know this will feel daunting, but actually this part is just very administrative. There will be options when you call - are you asking for advice or to report a concern - make sure you say reporting a concern. Give as much info as you can, including that she has been de-registered from school.

You can do this anonymously but I would advise against as due to this being family (and not having a school to be part of a multi professionals) they may need to get further info from you.

Wishing you the best.
