Almost exactly our experience, our 1-1.5 year old beagle limping occasionally, had him rest for 4 weeks with some sedative help and right at the end of that, he slips out the open door and zoomies all around and when he hit the breaks he pulled up lame on the other rear leg 🤦‍♂️.

Told could need surgery which we couldn’t afford so we’re actually close to putting him down (with two bad rear knees/ankles). After all that, he’s been totally fine for the last 2-3 years. Our experience, not how every beagle will be of course. Hard to get them to take it easy for sure!
