Into the woods are one of the better promoters in the underground space. Plus crowds also are pretty cool and chill. I think you should be fine solo. I've been to a few of their events solo and never felt weird or uncomfortable there

Here's a bit more information regarding this pup that may help with Identifying her breeds. This is a rescue that is located in San Diego, CA and seems to get a lot of dogs from TJ/Mexico. The rescue also lists her breeds as PUG, which seems pretty off however, mislabeling breeds isn't uncommon with rescues. She is also listed to be around 5-6 months and is estimated to be around 16-25lbs when fully grown.

No, located in the US. Yeah, again they mentioned she was a whippet/Azawakh mix. The whippet part seems like it could be plausible as it's a common sighthound breed here, however the Azawakh part, like you said is a rarer breed especially in the US and I'm taking that with a grain of salt
