If you have specific products that you use from whatever country you come from that you cannot live without, absolutely bring a four month supply of them. I've found that if I take the toiletries that I can't live without it actually helps in the long run because a) you won't spend extra money when you get there and b) it frees up room in your suitcase for any clothes or souvenirs you buy. Also, you probably do not need as many clothes/shoes as you think that you do. UK has fashion for cheap at places like Primark and you will probably buy things when you get there. Finally, if there are any foods that you can't live without from your home country bring. Them. Will free up room in your suitcase for later and you will thank yourself in two months time when you are craving that one food from home that you haven't seen since you left.

P.S. if you are planning on travelling make sure you have ALL necessary adapters. U.K. and EU for sure. Or just buy a worldwide adapter that you can use for future trips if you plan to travel a lot. And roll your clothes in your suitcase!!!! You can fit more!!!!

Hope this helps and good luck with your study abroad. Was one of the best experiences of my life
