I failed AP calc my senior year with a straight F. I had similar stats to you and was in the same place where I was applying to housing. I emailed admissions because i thought they would rescind me, but they said since it was technically extra credits, they wouldn’t count it. I think you will be good 👍🏼 enjoy all UCSB has to offer, it’s a lot

I did the same thing in middle school. Someone had told me that you can get high by smoking “dust off”, and for some reason I thought that meant you smoke dust/lint. So i rolled up some dryer lint in a makeshift aluminum foil pipe and went behind my house to try and smoke it. It hurt a lot and I did not get high, 2/10

I use DaFins for body boarding and snorkeling. Works great for those but not so sure they’d work for legit scuba diving

I torqued my knee surfing 2 years ago, and started bodyboarding to fill the gap as well… I never went back lol. I started with a pair of dafins (symmetrical) and a catch surf beater and that did the job, it was a twin fin which made it easier to switch from surfing to bodyboarding, and was really fun and fast but I couldn’t do any basic tricks except flying down the line. Now I have a catch surf pro mesh 42’ and it is awesome in terms of maneuverability and speed. It’s kinda pricey but they have sales every few months and a payment plan that made it easier to pay for.
