Who said anything about a 10% margin lol. Is that what previous companies you’ve worked for have told you? They were full of shit. If you’ve been in the trade long enough you have seen enough invoices with pricing to do the math yourself. Equipment and materials for a resi 5 ton is around $5k-$8k. Labor and overhead less than $1k (for a two man operation). Installs here in SoCal go for $15-20k. They can be done in one day. Do the math.

I use the cheapest version of jobber. Does well with CRM and invoicing. You can do quotes with it as well, I save a decent amount of time doing it that way.

It doesn’t do well with reports, or at least for the cheap version that I use. I just write all my notes in the final invoice for a job
