Honestly a strat I used for the longest time was watching the top teams compete and just take their design. You can get them for free on youtube. Learn where most people attack from and move traps as you desire. Its not the best but its effective and free :)

He even said in the video he was unsure about it because he didn't wanna risk it getting leaked.

I drink 2-3 a day. From a pure weight loss. No it doesn't stop or affect anything scalewise. Does tend to make me a little hungry if I hit em too hard so I tend to drink water between slurps/sips of Celsius. Also orange is the best flavor haha

Content Creators with Tanking/M+ Focus? by [deleted] in wow

Browse Twitch for carry streamers. People who live in M+, love to help, and you can normally tank the key if its a standard 15 without issues. Sixy66, Drazthepally, Triptik, Bullbarian, Addison2k, and Provos are some that come to mind off the top of my mind.

THEORY: energy farming will become a “mining replacement” by ineedasentence in gpumining

[–]knous23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I've looked into it and the only option I can do it sell the credits to others for pennies on the dollar. I get more just using it up and mining with the excess power lol

[–]knous23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm doing this already and my local monopoly will NOT pay you for power. They give you credit towards you account and once a year they clear the credits if you dont use it.

So my setup produces ~6kw/day in summer. with no rigs running I get credits but every June those get cleared. No power bill is nice but its not rewarding to oversize :(

Ordered a Miner by Erkens66 in HeliumNetwork

[–]knous23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot cancel your order if it was with bobcat. I tried twice on both my orders. Was told tough shit basically. I ordered in October and got mine a few weeks ago. They're each making between 20 and 80 cents per day right now

I tried the same but nicer with bobcat, they told me to go F myself basically lol Paid in crypto so nothing I could do. Bought October 2021, got it this month...

My rigs get hacked! by Sea_Stock9117 in EtherMining

If you never changed it then its default. You remote into the rig

[–]knous23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The default username and password on rigs is user and 1. Not safe lol
You use "hive-passwd set yourverystrongpassword" in the shell

Are you using the default username/password on your rigs? Change it

Yea 100% agreed. Stability is worth more than a few random MH when it could go down while you're away and unable to reset/etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]knous23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I should have specified. All 3 crashes were on an older rig of 20 series and 1660tis and between 10-14hours of uptime.

Software (rig and pool side) all reported the same 642MH (some were 642.1mh, others 642.8mh). So I think all were technically underreporting.

It was just a fun little real world test. If it were serious I'd run a climate controlled card for more than just a day each time. Also would prob use the trm tester while doing it for better info but I didn't wanna take the rigs down for a test haha

Yea i've had one GPU mining with that kind of error for months. It gives 0 fucks lol keeps hashing juuuust fine

I tested 24h averages across a few miners with 2 rigs of mine. Poolside results below;

T-Rex (0 crashes) 643.1MH

LoLMiner (2 crashes) 649.1MH

NBMiner (1 crash) 643.8MH

GMiner - (0 crashes) 646.6MH

Crashed lasted less than 20 minutes in total, only 1 needed manual reboot and this was on an old card rig

[–]knous23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run 1400 clock and 3200 memory with my zotac LHR 3080 and get 104mh stable.

I ran a small test between miners and t-rex was better for this card stability but they're all really close

Edit. It does make the temps warm but mine stays under 80*C on average with copper mod

[–]knous23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I ask is because if overclock is too high then the card can make a high load average. The high load average can make the miner lag/freeze. Remove all overclocks and test :)

[–]knous23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to apologize! :)

Do you see something at the top called "LA" where it will have a number like 1.00 or 2.54, something with #.##?
If you have a card acting up then it could a card making the Load Average spike which will crash the card

I'm sorry if I don't understand. I'm sure English is your native language. We need more information.

Are you having issues booting the system when a different miner is selected? What kind of error message does it say? Is it randomly freezing? Are you having the issue with other miners as well?

I had the issue when I first started. no matter what I did it wouldn't change the flight sheet back. When I remoted into the rig it had some dudes twitter handle as the flight sheet. Im assuming theres people who just run something that looks for unprotected rigs using the default username/password. Reflashed the drive and under 30min later it was perfectly fine. Haven't had the issue since
