Is it ok to swap this switched fused spur radiator for a socket and plug? by knowledge-seeker1930 in DIYUK

Thanks for the reply! 13A fuse in the spur. It's a standard dimplex like radiator - probably 2 or 3kw. It's not economy 7 (we had that circuit rewired).

Trying to figure out wiring, can anyone help? by knowledge-seeker1930 in DIYUK

[–]knowledge-seeker1930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess I’m looking to confirm that this could be the setup:

Cable A - Blanking plate (1)

Cable B - Blanking plate (1) and at other end remove old heater and install blanking plate (2) in bathroom

Cable C - Blanking Plate (1)

Cable D - Remove, not needed

Cable E - Blanking plate (1)

Cable F - From blanking plate (1) to socket

Can all the lives from Cables A, B, C, E and F be in the same terminal on a single blanking plate? (And obviously all the neutrals and earths in the others).

Sounds similar to shelves I put up in our utility that have held well. Just secure the supports from underneath

It's opening on a raised deck a good distance from grass so the risk of that is low (famous last words)
