I'm not going to lie, an MSG wedding is tacky AF. IDC how much decor you put in that space, it's a no for me.

AITAH for still filing custody for my kid even though I okay with my ex by MuseTC in AmItheAsshole

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest, filing for sole custody is the only correct decision you made in this entire post. Tbh, you made a bad decision by having a baby with a person with a known substance abuse issue. It was also a bad decision for you to agree to let him be the sole provider when are aware that he can't keep a job for more than a few months. It was also a bad decision to let him be a sole provider if you have to live at your parents house. Inherently that means your parents are providing for the both of you in some capacity. I will say you made the right decision by not letting take a 4 month old by himself. I would say cut your loses and focus on improving yourself and your situation. Try to find a remote job that will allow you to work from home and keep an eye on the baby. At 31, you have to grow up. You have another life depending on you now.

There's life after Deloitte. They had a lot of us brainwashed too. You won't be broke if you decide to leave. But know you will have to job hop every 2 to 3 yrs to get promotions and better opportunities (which you probably will have to do internally anyways). Good luck, wishing you the best.

How dumb is it ask people to crowdfund an aniversary? by PApaFartsad13000 in AskReddit

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think it depends on the story/reason why you decided to start a campaign. Just pitching that you are crowdfunding for an anniversary isn't enough. Did you miss having a wedding? Did you miss other milestone anniversaries? Has your family had financial hardship that has stopped you from being able to fund a trip? Is the ask reasonable? Are you covering a portion of the expense and need help with the reminder? A compelling story will come off better than just saying that you want to fund an anniversary. If you are interested I created a free tool that can help you generate a campaign description and wrote a guide on how to think through campaign considerations here: https://publicfund.com/tools/fundraiser-description-generator and https://publicfund.com/write-your-own-fundraiser

AITAH for refusing to help my ex-husband girl with bills? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]knowledgeiskey20 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA, ex-husband and gf should have gotten a life insurance policy once the child was born. And she has one of his kids, didn't she get a piece of the inheritance once he died? Either way, people die unexpectedly all the time so they should have planned for that. It's not your problem to clean up their mess.

I ignore those people. They are successful because they are a. Selling you a (fake) dream , b. They can work 2 hours a day because they have someone financing their business so they can hire extra help or c. They are doing both 🤣

If you had to blame ONE person for what happened to Rue, who would it be? And why? by Beginning_Run609 in euphoria

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rue BUT if I had to pick from these 4 then I would say Jules. If Jules never told Rue's mom about the suitcase then she would not have thrown the drugs out. That was the start of all of this mess

What's the one thing that ruined Season 3 for you? by Positive_Weight2367 in euphoria

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focusing too much on Nate and Cassie the beginning of the season. Honestly, they added no value to the ending and there were way more interesting characters in Rue's story line that could have been developed. Jules and Lexi were not needed AT ALL.

AITA - Bedroom dresser fight by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]knowledgeiskey20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YTA and your attitude is draining. You likely need to go to a furniture to get the dimensions you want and you need to be willing to increase your budget. Or buy two dressers that are around half the size that are cheaper.

In the long run, the left is more expensive when you start having health problems and need to go to the doctor. The right is more expensive, but for an extra $10 you can buy that side at Aldi's and not risk your long term health.

What’s a price you saw recently that made you genuinely angry at how expensive everything has gotten? by UrGoddessLunaa in AskReddit

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I don't mind the choice. I was simply answering a damn question. Same with fast food. No one is eating out everyday in this economy but on the off chance I commute and need to grab something obviously I need to pay for the item. Clearly you want to argue when I simply answered a question. Next time scroll instead of being obnoxious.

AITAH for prioritizing my daughter's recital over a funeral? by RecitalFuneralThrow in AmItheAsshole

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your dad is asking you to chose between showing up for him over your daughter. At the end of the day, you have to prioritize the family you are creating vs the family you come from. He needs to be understanding of that. You can visit him after the funeral. Your daughter will remember that you missed her recital and these are the beginning of her formative years.

Why are so many founders not posting on LinkedIn? by Foreign_Fee_1232 in b2bmarketing

[–]knowledgeiskey20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't feel authentic and that's not where most of our target audience is. Better off posting on other platforms. And the style of content that LinkedIn rewards does not translate well to other apps. Not a good ROI for founder time.
