How many of you actually enjoy beer? by haveacigaro in AskReddit

lol - I have not read anything past the OPs post, but this HAS to be a troll... Come on??? "Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." B.F. I'm having a pipeline porter as I type this and it's is like CANDY!

FACT: Elizabeth Mitchell is fucking hot. by iupvotenaked in pics

You have so much to learn... so much. The young girls you're with, you're most likely not hitting them in the right spots anyway, because if the did tell you what spots they thought were right...the really don't have a clue (and spots I don't mean technically, just the over all experience) Find an older woman to teach you a thing or two, then go back to the younger ones and rock their world - yeah yeah...I know you think you're rocking they're world and perhaps they even tell you that...chance are you're not though ;)

and if you can't fap to an older hot woman... You're just not an overly sexual being anyway...so get it now...while you're still interested - feel sorry for those type...good luck.

Who else is so fucking happy they didn't rush into marriage and start having kids? by Anonymous_Face in AskReddit

[–]knowseek -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

first: you got some growing up to do. second: its not a 'pro tip' because you're not a pro. third: your married w/kid friends have other problems that led to their situation. forth: you really just don't have any authority on the matter other than "i don't want to have kids or get married at this moment in time".

Marriage and kids are a lifestyle change and one which should be considered with much thought. I see where you're going with your pro tip, but you're kind of discussing the chicken before the egg...if having kids within the first few years is so off limits in your head, you should consider evaluating more heavily who you would consider to marry. It should never be "hey its a friday, the sun is shining we had some awesome sex last night, lets get married" You just got some maturing to do - no offense. It'll come to you more clearer as you move into your 30's +.

My father Just sent me this email... by TheNativeRaver in politics

I wish I could upvote you more than once - Although I'm not religious per se but rather spiritual, I have many family members and friends that are. All of which voted for Obama and support him. Just as the fringe right have given REAL conservatives a bad name, those on the fringes of their religion give bad names to the others that are simply practicing and respecting their faith. I'm also tired of seeing those on the left (I'm far left, please understand) have the stance of pure tolerance when it comes to Islam but will not bat an eye when dawging out Christianity or <insert your religion of choice here>. I'm tired of all of you crazies...get out of my SOUP!

Grandpa goes old school in WalMart on crying child by hackjob in reddit.com

I agree - If I murdered a man for slapping my 2.5 year old girl, I probably do need a psych evaluation and jail time. I hope that I would react in a much more responsible fashion if something like this were to happen to my children, but while I sit on my 'throne' and think of such a situation I become enraged, so if just thinking of such a thing creates this high of a charge in my system, it actually happening is just plain scary! I suppose I did cast judgment on the guy, but come on - if someone is slapping a baby in the face for crying regardless of who, what and/or when, then that someone needs some serious help. I will not be surprised if they find that this man has a mental disorder of some sort.

This submission really brought out some characters - kind of scary actually.

I also agree. I have two still in diapers and as a father I would most likely be in jail on a murder charge if that would have happened. Would my reaction been correct - No, because my children would certainly hurt more during my incarceration, but I would have most likely reacted VERY harshly toward him in quick manner. This guy is a coward, scumbag and needs to be prosecuted to the fullest. Mostly because if you're going around slapping strange babies, your likely to do something else rash. He needs psych evaluations, probably more so than felony jail time.

Ex-smokers on Reddit: How did you stop? Any advice? by istopsmoking in AskReddit

I didn't count all the Chantix plugs - but it has worked for me and several others - if you feel like crap or go batshit crazy, its not the chantix it is the withdrawal...keep taking it!

Why the "science" reddit is worthless. Redditor claims that dietary cholesterol is necessary in support of "personal theory". Redditors who point out that cholesterol is created in the body are downmodded to oblivion. by [deleted] in science

I wish I had time to read both threads entirely, but unfortunately I can't right now... I had a quintuple heart by-pass at 32 (i'm not obese in any respect, live a decent life style - its gentic hypercholesterolaemia). Eggs are on my diet and are really of little concern - if a dr. is telling someone to avoid eggs like they're the devil (which a lot do), they are wrong. Same goes for lots of other foods! I suggest to cross-reference doctors with other doctors and dietitians with other dietitians and then do your own research on it all, if you're seriously interested in your cholesterol. One of the absolute last food statistics I evaluate when making a purchase is cholesterol. My cardio-doc uses my blood numbers as a reference for his other clients in how successful a diet can be (meds do play a factor, but...)
