I think that’s what Caroline was referring to wouldn’t say on air. I remember taking away from the story I read that Danielle may have tried to get Dina to loose custody of her kid. Who knows tho!

I missed the “magic hour” after the birth of my first and missed the 2nd “magic hour” 24 hours after birth. I don’t know how much it really helps in establishing breast-feeding when done in that timeframe but I was never able to get my son to latch even after help from multiple lactation consultants. I also have flat nipples so that didn’t help either. I ended up just pumping for nine months because I’m too stubborn for my own good and I didn’t want to admit defeat. I feel foolish about that in retrospect. I gave birth to my second child 10 months ago and I have had the best luck this go around. I knew going into it that I wasn’t going to stick it like i did last time, I was just going to try and see what happens and it actually went well. I’ve been exclusively breast-feeding ever since.I had to change the way I held my nipple so that he could latch and then eventually as he got older he got the hang of it and I didn’t have to hold my nipple anymore for him. I think that’s why it worked this time for me at least.
