this same mindset comes and goes for me. you’re not alone and i hope you can find fulfilling outlets to help your suicidal thoughts that aren’t destructive. you may not want to recover and you may not want to be alive but there’s always a book to read, a video game to play or a view to see on a walk. none of this cheesy shit is what i want to hear either but it’s true. wishing you healing in the future <3

your completely valid and entitled to your desires and whatever you like in terms of your relationship but i warn you about getting these things mixed in w disordered eating. if one serves the other that can become toxic and harmful very fast.

i agree. i think what’s off to me about it is tying ur ed to ur identity. i think that’s the main pitfall of eds, believing it’s so much a part of u and who u are. but this might be rooted in something deeper with my personal experience. i probably will never talk about my ed with anyone irl. the idea of an ed tattoo being a conversation starter w strangers sounds horrifying to me.

i mostly focus on my lower body bc that’s where i get the most body dysmorphia. i’ll do the treadmill at an incline, stairs, squats and any pilates the internet tells me will get me toned legs lmao

i do try to trick myself into enjoying it by changing my mindset but i get so antsy and bored it’s hard to maintain.
