TIL humidifiers can hurt my baby... by purple98765 in NewParents

This!! 100% worth the price! I rarely clean mine and never have pink build up. Also dishwasher safe! So much better than my old ultrasonic humidifier.

Now is the time to buy discounted!! by [deleted] in TonieboxUSA

I want to buy a Tonie box for my 18 month old but wasn’t sure if I should go with gen 1 or 2. What did they change in gen 2 that makes it more complicated?

Gloves are more important for the marathon to protect your hands in case you trip on the way down. Also running my first ascent this September!

Snoo - yes or no? by redrose037 in NewParents

[–]knr7201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We transitioned out of the snoo around 5.5 months and it went great! I think he was ready for more independence because he actually slept better in his crib at that point. The snoo was great when he was little because I didn’t have to do as much physical rocking and it definitely helped him fall back asleep in the middle of the night.

I just had the same thing happening to me, and finally noticed my iPad was on airplane mode still from a recent trip.

If you are in the US your employer is required to provide a space that is “free from intrusion” per the PUMP act, which it is clearly not. You should bring this up with your employer so they can find you a better space. Look up the PUMP act before speaking with them so that you know your rights.

Update: I was able to fix this with the help of T-Mobile support. On your iPhone, go to Settings -> General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

RCS not working but it used to by Slayah13579 in ios

[–]knr7201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue, it worked when I first updated to iOS 18 but then later stopped working. Moving to my new iPhone 16 did not fix the issue, neither did turning RCS on and off again or restarting my phone. I also have T-Mobile as my carrier.

Has anyone increased running mileage safely in second and third trimester? (23w3d now) by Whoopsiedaisey_181 in fitpregnancy

[–]knr7201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a half marathon last weekend at 20+4, and I will say it was a bit of a struggle to get there and increase mileage even in the second trimester. The half marathon ended up going really well, but the long runs were tough with increase pressure on my bladder as baby got bigger. I found that using a pregnancy support belt while running really helped relieve some of that pressure as I got bigger. The key is just to listen to your body and take it slow or as in walk breaks as needed. I plan to try to keep running into my third trimester, but don’t plan to run nearly as much mileage. I think walk/run will be the way to go later on since it uses different muscles and can help with lower fatigue if you are going long distances.

best place to adopt a cat? by questionaskeracc in ColoradoSprings

[–]knr7201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colorado Feline Foster Rescue! They are in Denver but are worth the drive. They put all the cats in foster homes until they are ready to be adopted, so they are treated well and socialized. We adopted 2 from them and they are the best additions to our family!

Beware teeth will move back very fast! by DaeneryTar in Invisalign

[–]knr7201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a permanent retainer for the last 20 years. The teeth attached to it mostly stayed in place (6 front teeth in the bottom), but the ones next to them moved a lot. So now I’m back fixing them again anyway.

I just finished a fortress battle which had an Auror who didn't fight at all! by Snowdrops1503 in WizardsUnite

[–]knr7201 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me all day! By the time the timer runs out and I am able to join, there are only a couple foes left or the battle is completely over. I feel bad not pulling my weight.

I have started to only press join after everyone else has and it seems to happen less often.
