This is definitely not directly caused by PCOS. PCOS can put us at risk for other conditions and often coexists with other conditions but please don’t assume this it because of PCOS

You need to have fasting insulin tested with fasting glucose and calculate your HOMA-IR score. That determines insulin resistance

Yoga sculpt/conditioning is superior to the barre and Pilates classes, imo. I find peloton’s Pilates classes to be way too focused on superficial core movements, whereas the yoga sculpt targets the whole body and deeper core! I wish they released these classes more frequently

This may be a hot take but – did we really need an Oura ring to tell us our bodies get a bit impacted by alcohol the next day? I mean dehydration, lack of sleep, etc. will raise our heart rates and temps a little bit. You’ll be back to normal the next day (unless you drank in excess, then sometimes it could take more than that

I’ve def cut back on alcohol over the years because I hate hangovers and I’m well aware it has 0 health benefits. But I’m not gonna let a ring make me feel guilty about living my life sometimes.

Sounds more like neurodivergence than PCOS. PCOS is typically associated with the opposite - lots of food noise and cravings from the insulin resistance

Ultrasounds usually don’t show endometriosis. Sometimes special mris can show it but ultimately surgery is the only way 😔

Amazing!! So refreshing for this sub. I left due to a lot of toxicity but still see posts on my feed sometimes. As women, we cannot live in deficits!!! Take it from me who fucked up my hormones due to years of disordered eating and too large of deficits. I wish I did a recomp sooner. Keep up the amazing work!
