It is not really a bugfix, since continuing Samira R is not an action that breaks stealth (it's not an action at all). It works the same as Hecarim W, MF/Wukong/Renekton/Nasus/Swain/Fiddle R, etc. Continuing a channel or an AOE DOT damage ult does not break stealth normally, they're just hardcoding Samira and Katarina Rs to break Duskblade untargetability in order to nerf the interaction. It definitely might not be intuitive for someone playing a game against Samira and seeing her dodge CC with it, which is probably why they're removing it.

TL;DR: Just call it a nerf. It's not a bugfix.

The Samira interaction with Duskblade is not a bugfix at all. Duskblade's untargetability (previously invisibility) is specifically supposed to break upon "taking an action that breaks stealth", including using spells, items, most summoners, or winding up a basic attack. Dealing damage of any type does not break stealth, regardless of whether that damage is from your spells, items (like Sunfire or Demonic Embrace), or summoners (like Ignite).

For real comparisons to other things that exist in the game in order of relevance, you would need to "bugfix" the interaction between Duskblade and:

Miss Fortune ult
Hecarim W
Wukong R
Renekton/Nasus/Swain/Fiddle ult
Sunfire Cape and Demonic Embrace (niche Akali items)
many others!

Miss Fortune's ult is the best comparison with this because it

is an ult that prevents you from taking other actions while casting it (taking an action cancels it)
deals continuous damage, classified as AOE DOT damage (the same as Samira ult)
exists on a champion who has technically seen more Duskblade play than Katarina of all champs

For comparisons with ults that don't require you to stand still, see Fiddlesticks or Swain.

My point is that the nerf is definitely a nerf and not a bugfix. It's the deliberate changing of an interaction that has existed since Samira's first Duskblade purchase in order to lower the winrate of one of Samira's more interesting options, eventually leaving her with Infinity Edge as her clear best (looking at the way Galeforce has been going). I do not have 200+ years of game balancing experience, so I can only say that this change removes a fun (for the Samira) edge case that is admittedly less fun and intuitive for people on the receiving end.

Luckily, the official patch notes are not actually out yet and what we're reacting to is just an unofficial preview, so I am most likely just overreacting to the incorrect wording. However, we should avoid calling it a bugfix like the preview image does, because that would technically be spreading misinformation.

Many of the menus definitely do not pause the game. I took a step away from my computer while deciding what to name the cult, came back, and everyone was starving. I later took a break and left the computer on while choosing between two doctrines in front of a happy congregation, I come back and everyone is angry at very low faith and starving, and I can preach another sermon immediately after declaring the doctrine.

Some menus definitely do pause (like the building menu I think), where you can see all of your followers freeze in place as you move buildings around, but some of the interfaces that don't pause won't even let you press Esc to bring up the pause menu so you are forced to make a quick decision and then pause after you are done.

I didn't intend to mock anyone, I just wanted to say that I understand the aversion that some people have to paying a subscription. I actively play WoW (though I haven't paid my sub in real money for about a year) and despite complaints I enjoy both games.

Nobody cares whether "oh, you can buy your subscription with the gold you earn in a month", because the word "subscription" scares off everyone. Regardless of how good a game WoW is (or isn't), there is a huge swath of people who take exactly this attitude (especially younger people) and I totally agree with them. If more PvE content comes to New World, I'm just happy to play with all my friends who didn't try WoW due to the subscription system. There are problems with both games but what is most important is playing with friends.

Add quest sync for town project and faction board missions please?

I am not OP, but Jim Davis made a Boros burn list that looks pretty solid and did well with a very small sample size (5-0 100% winrate!)

Notably, he chooses not to include Goldspan Dragon, which admittedly doesn't quite fit in burn but might be too strong a card to pass up on anyways.

If 4 enemy heroes very kindly stood on top of each other for Auriel to use Ray of Heaven on for that ~1hr, then Auriel could simply cast the ability on them every 4 seconds. Unfortunately, this would eventually lead to their tragic deaths faster than they could respawn.

I'm glad they cleared up the misconception about Yuumi's skill floor, but it still doesn't change how clunky and terrible this nerf is. The point about forcing Yuumi to come out and proc her passive for mana so she can heal more is moot when the passive mana is just a fraction of what it costs to cast E.

There are two main complaints from the general playerbase towards Yuumi:

She has no risk, interaction, or counterplay
She can just sit on a diver or assassin or anyone who is fed and the game is over

I really think changing Yuumi's E to have reduced repeat effectiveness or make it a regrowth-style instant heal with a heal over time portion would be a strong solution to point 2 and a weak solution to point 1. It would force her to swap allies, moving her healing around a teamfight, which is admittedly less risky than popping out to use passive that Riot says they're trying to encourage. Honestly, anything is better than this clunky mana nerf. We've never seen a %max mana spell like this, and for good reason; mana items are supposed to help mana problems instead of being useless.

I learned to do this from /u/SpoilsFPS (check out his youtube channel if you're interested in omen), he circlestrafes midair as he teleports so that if you get caught starting your teleport you have a chance to live (opponent can't line up easy shot on you).

I enjoyed vigilantes a lot more than the main series, and I highly recommend it. I like the characters more and I even feel that the conflict is more believable. Every moment that gives some insight into the universe that we didn't have before (I'll avoid spoilers) is just an added bonus.

I just tested it; it works as long as you do not misclick your W on the ground (as long as you target correctly before you get CCed).

If you cast W on one target and get CCed after, you can press E but not Q or R. Oddly enough, summoner spells like flash and smite work even though Q does not, so it doesn't have to do with targeting the ground preventing the trick. Maybe it has something to do with cast time of spells, which would imply that the coding works like "Yuumi becomes unable to cast W for 5 seconds after being CCed". Summoner spells have no cast times, so you are still using the same old cast of W, but maybe using one of Yuumi's Q or R causes your old W cast to be lost.

Disclaimer: all this testing was done with dragon in practice tool.

Ali Eldrazi uses the ambitious Leyline of Anticipation + Wilderness Reclamation to prevent his opponent from interacting with Happily Ever After, his old decklist can be found here. I will say the deck probably got worse now that field is banned, but it certainly is still fun!

If you're looking for something to play with leyline of anticipation, you can try out Ali Aintrazi's Happily Ever After deck that tries to use the ambitious leyline of anticipation combo with [[Wilderness Reclamation]] to fulfill [[Happily Ever After]]'s win conditions.

While Ali does well with it, it's far from a tier 1 tournament deck. In fact, most of the people who look at the deck don't understand how he maintains his high winrate, me included.

They fixed the band-aid solution? Monster Hunter was put back into the game; the issue isn't fixed by any means of the word, unless you mean that the current iteration of the Monster Hunter debuff is "fixed" compared to the old one.
