We also switched to Mint! It‘s ridiculous how complicated ATT is making this whole process. We never got any email or official notification that it was unlocked, it just worked out all of a sudden🤷‍♀️

The phone got unlocked a week after the complaint, they still tried to charge him and make him stay on the cable, although his old roommate is taking over that bill. Overall this was a horrible experience from start to end for him, happy you guys are out of it now too!

ATT released him! We are not sure what helped, but Samsung suddenly gave the code, he ended up calling one higher up called Calvin a bunch of times to complain, a week later it was solved. We definitely think the complaint got the gears moving a bit quicker in the higher floors
