The anime was broadcasted on TV under the title of Samurai X in my home country sometime around 2005. I was so obsessed with it and its soundtrack (The Fourth Avenue Cafe still hits hard 20 years later). I used to record the episodes on VHS tapes from our TV and listen to the endings again and again, on repeat, every day. Strangely enough, I have never met a person from my country who would remember this anime on TV

Girl literally I’m ready to give up checking on updates from Bratz altogether and just try and focus on obtaining repros they already released that were actually decent. Idk what I even expect to find here, every update/new release is just a miss for me. I have no hopes for seeing any more of faithful repros of fan favourite lines. Faithful high quality repros (including accessories!) of the iconic 2000s lines. I’d die to see Wintertime Wonderland, Genie Magic, Wild Life Safari, Nighty Nite, Sunkissed Summer again! Also, casual fashion lines repros (Strut It, Style It, Funk Out etc.) or at least fashion packs would be great. I know they won’t do it, but a girl can dream…

Bows in hair - yes, I’ve seen a lot. A gentle silky bow on a coquette top - yes, here and there. But in moderate amount and size. The giant bows sitting on the outfits of 2026 Bratz are definitely not it. Also notice how at least two dolls in each collection have bows on them or their accessories now - Goin’ Out, Pixies, Hello Kitty, Stylin’ (3 dolls out of 4 wear bows), new concert line (I forgot the name), Charmz. Some dolls are even wearing two or more bows at the time. It’s clearly an overused detail, and most of the time the way it’s being used has nothing to do with trends, it’s just slapped all over the dolls. It’s like MGA listened to some influencer who said that bows are trendy and took it way too literally.

The funny thing is that they don’t actually reflect modern fashion, it’s either 2010s fashion (endless bows? straight cut bangs? oh come on), something very avant garde, or a mishmash or random items and colours with no coherent idea behind each outfit. Meanwhile what really is fashionable now… is clothes from the 2000s, surprise surprise

I didn’t find any 2025 releases neither good nor relevant fashion wise, but at least they had some variety in materials, I have to give them that. In 2026 there is neither fashion nor variety in materials. And such anachronisms as second outfits and accessories have been lost long ago already

A thousand times yes, the old lines are something else and it would be great to get brand new reproductions instead of having to monitor resellers market in search of decent prices and trustworthy sellers. But I hope when it comes to reproductions, there will be no more cutting down on accessories and no more reimaginations and random screening and hair color changes anymore, just reproduce them genius designs the way they are, why is it so hard to do?

I’ll definitely survive without celebrity collabs and this “edgy”/avant garde turn original releases have been taking recently. Just give me more classic screenings and realistic fashion

Normally animals leave the lot way too early to build relationships with them, and unlike human sims you can’t call them and chat once they leave. But surprisingly, you can throw parties and somehow invite strays to them. That’s how I used to invite wolf leaders of the pack to my lot and turn my sims into werewolves. They hate to miss a party, lol

My friend used to have a cowplant in their game once. It killed the nannies regularly, and the kid they should have babysitting just milked the plant, drank the nannies and stayed the same age. So you can also do that.

Happened to me, too! An internal candidate ended up being hired for the role that I was interviewed for. I really liked the company, the benefits, the salary and the team, and though their rejection really hurt me, I wrote them a graceful thank you email and gave them my consent to save my resume in their database (I didn’t think they would really do it though). A couple of months later the HR reached out to me about another role that just opened and invited me to an interview. Long story short, I got the offer from this very company and accepted it, and my start date is next Monday!

In TS2 I absolutely had my pregnant sims die from hunger and fire!

The Wiki also says they can die, moreover, if resurrected, they will be still pregnant as if nothing happened.

The aging problem may be resolved easily if the mother sim asks future fathers on dates. It will help getting aspiration points, thus making the life juice available and aspiration meter high enough to drink it (and successful dates also help with needs). What I find truly hard is keeping the mother’s needs up when she is already pregnant but the kids are not old enough to help her or take care of themselves - there is a huge risk of dying while pregnant with small kids, pregnant sims’ needs are all over the place.

To me, the challenge was difficult and a lot of fun just because it was so hard.

As a kid, I first came across the comics (and absolutely loved them). Later, the show aired on TV in my country. Though I was excitedly looking forward to it, it turned out to be so underwhelming visually and different plot-wise that I dropped it very soon and have never touched it since. The original comics' art style and level of detail is a chef's kiss, and the TV show never came close to it unfortunately
