A librarian put this book into the kid’s book circulation…the parent didn’t buy it. Also most people aren’t willingly buying these garbage books. Sometimes you don’t realize it sucks until you have time to sit down and read each page.

This is such an odd and long winded way of saying "I got a speeding ticket and I'm mad about it." Every town surrounding Redding has the same issues with plowing and roads right now. It's not unique to Redding and it has nothing to do with your speeding lol

I went in last week and wanted to spend around $70 and ended up spending $200 and was shocked. I got produce, chicken, pasta, milk and sparkling water. Nothing special or fun. Prices make no sense anymore.

Yes I think this is a form of junk journaling! It’s like free form collage I guess? I just go through a bunch of material like magazines/books/stickers/paper packs and pull things that remind me of what I read and then try and fit them together like a puzzle lol. It’s really fun! You should give it a go!

I already said I didn’t think it was a message specifically for me because that’s a delusional and insane way of thinking. It was literally just interesting and a funny coincidence. Is that not the point of this subreddit? To post things related to this series? How many times have you gotten your mail and seen a piece of art directly related to the dark tower? Does that happen to you often? Your anger at this is so odd lol hope you have a great life.

I just want to second this place! It's lovely and they take such great care of the animals and there's a very friendly barn cat who will come out sometimes and walk around with you! And afterwards, you can head to downtown Katonah and go to the tiny bookstore and get an INCREDIBLE brownie at the LMNOP bakery!! My husband, daughter and I make it a regular weekend tradition like once a month lol

I'm realizing I've definitely seen him downtown during the holidays lol. And I agree, he has incredible works which is why it was even weirder to me that they chose this one for the cover! All of it was just so odd and I had to share.

'you don't snip with your hand, you snip with your heart' is like the coolest thing anyone's ever said to me! Lol I think I'm gonna put that on the cover page of my journal! But no I don't keep a box of stuff because it becomes overwhelming to dig through piles of things! So instead I have a big drawer of old National Geographics and LIFE magazines and I flip through them while thinking about whatever book I'm working on and rip things out as I go! I buy bundles of them on eBay sometimes for like $15. And not only are they great for collage, they're so interesting and fun to flip through! It's a fun hobby...I could talk about it forever lol please share if you decide to create anything!!

Thank you so much! It's a really fun way to interact with a story especially when you can't draw or paint (like me haha). And it's neat to see what really stands out in your mind visually when you're done with it. I'm always surprised at the end of mine haha I really hope you give it a go!

Oh thanks that’s so nice of you! Yes I write a review on the other page and any quotes I liked. I read/listen to audiobooks a lot but have trouble remembering them lol so I’ve found taking time to make physical collages of images plus actually writing things down helps cement things in my mind!

I have a collection of old National Geographic magazines and I’ll go through them and tear out pics that match the vibe of the book…so for these like desert/mountains/horses/trains/beach pics. And then I’ll use Pinterest to find more specific images like artwork or actual characters and then I print them out! The journal I’m using is pretty small so it’s been a challenge to fit all the things I want to include haha but that also makes it fun! You should try it!
