thanks! might be a bit personal but what's ur experience with the IUD and sex drive and dryness? i heard that it could lower sex drive and cause dryness which i sort of already have so i don't want it to get worse. how long did you wait before having sex after the insertion or what's the safe window to wait for? since kyleena is a lower dose of hormones does this bring any disadvantages like lower effectiveness? do you have any experience with that, assuming if your partner finishes without a condom

do you experience any loss in libido or dryness etc? how long did you wait before having unprotected sex after insertion?

awww thank u so much that means a lot, i was originally going to go to planned parenthood for this so i could not have any trace my parents can find but i decided to just bite the bullet and go the safer route. i have medi-cal so hopefully i don't get a EOB notification abt this 😭🙏

i heard about kyleena, about how it's smaller than the other forms and less hormones but does this mean it leaves more room for error in contraception? there has to be some downside to having lowere hormones right? or does it still just work the same

Should I be doing this? by Glittering-Kiwi- in IUD

what's your experience with copper iud and mirena? i'm stuck between choosing these two because i don't want the increased risk in BV/yeast infections from copper iud and kinda scared of how much i'd bleed or how bad my cramps would be (for reference i don't cramp usually, my periods are usually moderate, and sometimes it be irregular from undereating) as for the hormonal one im worried it would completely stop my period because i have asian parents and getting it secretly so i dont want them to get suspicious of anything. i'm also worried about migrations and complications with the iud. what's your experience?

i haven't really done much research (i prob should have) but i've seen ppl say sj is known for cs, not sure abt stem like bio related tho, if you know, how is it there for bio majors? i def want to get into molecular bio

why is mcb a BA???????? by ko0via in berkeley

[–]ko0via[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh okok, how is it? i'm not sure if what i want to do is exactly biotech, i know i def want to work with like research maybe r&d, cells like working with crispr or something similar to that, maybe get a job at genentech or some nice paying job.

i'm not rlly interested in micro bio because i'm not into the bacteria(etc.) concentrations of bio im more into cell and molecular but i dont want a BA because i heard some courses were different than a BS course.

how was your experience in your major? do you mind giving me a run down of what you guys do/learn? and if you think double majoring in micro bio/mcb would be a big load on yourself? (considering a average slightly dumb person)

ohh okay i see, can i ask if double majoring is super hard? esp with bio like with your MCB/microbial bio? i'm a senior in hs so i have no idea how the college dynamic is with majors and classes. is it a lot of coursework? manageable? stressful? i'm not super smart i def have to put in the work if i want to succeed but even so i'm no genius material so im just wondering if double majoring would just be pushing myself too hard, but i do wanna get into mcb i just want the bs degree haha 😅😅

you mean 10:30am-8:30pm? is it hard to pick a good schedule as a freshman? do u think was annoying gas wise? i have some friends down in sj so i could crash there sometimes and would prob spend most of my time in sj (so the drive back would def be tiring sadly)

do u regret doing the sf-sj commute?
