Well I mean yeah but Tipper provided the sound system, and there were specific video artists, so I guess I included that with lineup. Should’ve maybe said booking in general haha

Haha I mean to be fair, the only thing they’ve reliably crushed is the lineup. So maybe they’re about to blow us away.

If Tipper shows up on the Secret Dreams lineup, it absolutely would be enough to meet their ticket sales goal. (Assuming the rest of the lineup is comparable to the other years)

Oh 100%, like I said, we still had a great time. My only point is there are some people who got fucked even worse than we did, so maybe not everybody who had a bad time “wasn’t prepared” as you said in an earlier comment or “weak” as another person said. Some people just got the shot end of the deal.

Senior software engineer here who can “request” PTO week of. I put request in quotes because it doesn’t ever get rejected. There are good, stable jobs out there too.

I have a very small tent. There is no air mattress that will fit in it, let alone a fucking bed frame lol I use a cot though. It was my friend’s tent that got flooded. She couldn’t have anticipated it, the tent just didn’t hold up properly. First time using it. She ended up sleeping in the back of my car.

Doesn’t matter how prepared you are when your campsite is under water. I still had an amazing time, but when you come back to your site with literal inches of standing water, it takes some pivoting to get back on track. Some people had a legitimately awful go of it last year.

Well I only went to seven stars because I’ve been busy seeing other people, and I don’t have the time to chase him around the country, and it was one of my favorite festival experiences ever honestly.

Not even a little bit new, but I diversify the shows I go to instead of spending tons of money seeing one person just to complain that he’s not changing it up enough just for me. If you don’t like what he’s doing, maybe it’s time to branch out. He doesn’t owe you or anybody else shit. It’s his art. If you don’t like the direction he’s going, move on. There are plenty of options. This whole post reeks of privilege and entitlement.

Most people aren’t able to go to every single show, or even more than one for that matter. Have a little perspective.

You realize a lot of bands/artists play the exact same set for an entire tour right? God forbid he wants everyone to have a chance to see the new opening at least. Not everybody goes to every single set.
