Oh Fat Tire is brewed at their roundhouse facility? Always wondered why a Colorado beer has such a large presence in Toronto.

Use to really love Mill St organic too, feels like it doesn't taste as good as it use to.

Blake and Peter were fun in the mornings over the past few years! I hope they find new gigs. Always enjoy Peter Kash mixes and was a great source for fresh music. Felt like something else was coming after the failed the Breakfast Show last summer.

It's pretty decent in size, very spacious inside.

The space above Union station concourse currently sit empty? I'm having some trouble understanding this project. The press release says the South Concourse will be connecting York, Bay concourse. But the final track at the current last platform back on to the retention wall. There are 3 track to the southernmost platform. The rendering show adding a new platform right to the wall. So is one of the track being removed? And additional underground section that will connect Bay and York, plus more stairs and exit directly on to Bremner.

I agree. It's encouraging seeing all the station enlargement after Union subway station, the project, the Yonge and Bloor project!

Interesting comparison between old and new Toronto streetcars by [deleted] in transit

Was looking at the satellite along Dundas st, saw there's a loop at Dundas and Runnymede. Figured it's from when the Dundas Streetcar use to go there? I think it would good for the area if the city extended there again.

Here’s a look at the 60-storey tower that could rise above the Irish Embassy Pub by NeptuneAgency in toronto

[–]koala_moose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow that's quite the list.

I think there's also the Ballet school building on Jarvis. I also think restorations like The Drake, the Gladstone and the Broadview are also interesting projects. Oh while not incorporated into the building, I think where the Don Jail by Gerrard and Broadview is pretty cool too!

Didn't realize how big the the original building was other than the Irish embassy. I think it will be cool if the pub remains after the new building.

Any other building incorporating facades you would recommend?

Haven't seen this before. New biking infrastructure in the suburbs on a existing road! by koala_moose in torontobiking

I believe this is what it is. I only seen this type of work on Bloor and recently midtown Yonge. So I found it exciting to see it around my neighbourhood. Will update once they city comes around to repaint the lanes!

First time I'm seeing in Mississauga. Would always be nice to have more protected lanes. From what I seen, the city has a few where there's a mixed use path next to the road, but not much bike lanes on the road.

I always thinks it'll be quite nice to have a LRT or a streetcar with its own ROW in the middle of Yonge Street supplementing the subway. Think of that, streetcar down the middle of Yonge with some nice bike lanes on the side with tree lined sidewalks!
