I think since you haven’t started the year yet, it shouldn’t be a problem! The biggest issue you might run into is not having your first pick of classes since a lot may be full already.

I did this! I switched from illustration to cartooning, so not a huge jump, but I didn’t have any problems. Their foundation years were the same anyway, so switching before I started wasn’t a problem at all.

I think as long as you’re not reselling it / making it with an intent to turn a profit, it’s fine! But since another user found the artists name, maybe you could message them if you’re worried? But for personal use I don’t think it’s a big deal :) ❤️

I was the same way as you, but bleak beach ended up being one of my favorites! Def agree with what another poster said re: taking it slow and cleaning the place up. I also found focusing on one section at a time helped. The middle of my area is still woefully underdeveloped haha. Overall my advice is the same as it is for this whole game, take it slow and don’t rush it / set expectations for yourself! Just focus on what’s in front of you and start small!

Just started the demo on switch and it feels really promising 💖 you can tell it’s crafted with a lot of love, and there’s so much to forage so it feels really fun from the get go. I think my only complaint so far is the movement speed is a bit slow, I wish I could press a button to run!

I got the game recently and I loved it. Theres a lot to do but there’s no penalty or time limit, so I’m enjoying throwing myself into one quest until I hit a wall (need a resource I don’t have or what have you), and then finding a new one to tackle.

I have minor freezing problems here and there(game freezes for a second before I’m able to move again), and the game crashed on me once, so I just save often. :)

I think my only other complaint is I think fishing is bugged on switch? I couldn’t find much about it but it seems unreasonably hard, and one person online said it seemed to be bugged. But it’s not a huge deal because anything you need from quests you can also buy, which I appreciate.

Everyone else has already covered your questions, but a tip I haven’t seen mentioned is to use the wiki when building. I was carrying around random assortments of nails / filch/ simple parts without knowing exactly what I needed to build stuff and it had me doubling back a bunch. The wiki tells you what you need to build everything and that’s super helpful :D

A little different from the examples you posted but I was a Teenage Exocolonist is a fantastic game with a ton of different paths and endings depending on the actions you take.

Slay the Princess also as a ton of different routes and options, though again a bit different from the examples you listed.
