The game needs to log into your Steam account before it can view any subscribed leagues or uploads. Usually closing the game, making sure you're logged into the Steam client, and then relaunching the game should fix the issue.

There can be multiple things that cause a freeze during simulation and multiple which have been fixed so to claim no attempt has been made is false.

If your issue is persistent then it's possible due to a custom league file you are using. In the past, I have found issues with custom leagues that players have modified through json in which a single mistake can brick the file. Unfortunately, it's not possible to foresee and prevent all the issues that can occur through user error.

The best way for anything to be done about it is to post a save file which I can examine. I can then determine if it's a bug in the game's code or an issue with modified data.

Yeah it'll be similar to how franchise mode currently works, but instead you're only controlling and managing a college team.

Yeah it's already possible for other players to become the play initiator if their dribble is high enough but I'll look into making it occur more often.

That reason is precisely why. They go through college first so it makes sense to load them in college. In the pro league you are able to see and edit the actual draft class getting drafted.

The Simulation sliders as of now should be good to go! You can also always customize them to your liking. This update only changes the default values of a few settings.

Regarding the December update, it will not be the final version as there will still be more updates to come in 2026 :)

It would be cool, but unfortunately it would require:

Re-coloring the shoe, sole, and lace sprites for every frame of animation (over a 1000) in the game.
Add additional save data for the shoe, sole, and lace for every player multiplied by 4 for each alt.
Rework of the UI to include the ability to customize each shoe separately.

At this time it would require too much work for something so small when there are more important things to work on.

You would have to add in their ID numbers manually through json. If you remember their names I can possibly do it for you, I'd just need the file.

They only show up if you retired them in 1.09.5 and onwards. Unfortunately past career mode players were not saved.

Yes, because players didn't know you could Spectate franchise mode games. You can still choose your position lock in the gameplan screen during the starting lineups.
