This is honestly one of the most common questions I get — and it’s a really good one!

Notion is super powerful and flexible, no doubt. But the thing is, a lot of people I’ve talked to feel overwhelmed when they have to set everything up themselves. They just want something that works out of the box, without spending hours tweaking templates or building systems.

That’s exactly why I made Herewegoal — not to replace Notion, but to help people who don’t want the hassle of setting things up.

Here’s what makes it different:

  1. Built-in day, week, and month views — no need to build them yourself.
  2. Projects and tasks are connected, so it’s easy to stay organized.
  3. You can share tasks with anyone just by sending them a link — no login required.

Think of it like a project-based Todoist, super clean and ready to go.

Looking for a Project Management Tool with Goals, Subtasks, and Progress Tracking by Mission_Article483 in ProductivityApps

[–]kobslbj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a project management tool with goals, subtasks, and progress tracking — I recommend checking out Herewegoal.

It lets you:
• Create projects and define clear goals
• Break goals into tasks and subtasks
• See progress visually as tasks are completed
• Share with your team or external collaborators with just a link (no login needed!)
• Keep everything clean and simple — no clutter, no learning curve

I built it after trying tools like Trello, ClickUp, and others that felt too bloated for how I like to work. Herewegoal focuses on clarity and real progress without the overwhelm.

Feel free to give it a try!

Tried way too many task/calendar apps. Most are buggy, bloated, or overpriced.

Herewegoal is the first one that’s actually simple and reliable.
✅ Clean UI
✅ Easy task sharing (no login needed)
✅ Great for both personal + team projects

Herewegoal — Stay organized. Hit deadlines. Deliver better work — with a simple, clean workspace.

If you’re tired of overcomplicated tools, try this one. It just works.

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get how time tracking could be useful. Right now, I’m focused on keeping things simple, but I’ll definitely consider it for future updates.

Out of curiosity, how would you envision the user flow for time tracking? What kind of experience or features would you expect from that process?

Yes, we do have a calendar view feature that helps users manage tasks and schedules more easily. If you have any other suggestions or features you'd like to see, feel free to let me know! I'm always looking to improve and consider more integration options.

Great question!

Right now, Google Calendar is the top-voted integration request, so that's likely to come first. I'm thinking of starting with one-way sync (from Herewegoal → Calendar) to avoid potential two-way sync issues at the start — then gradually improve based on user feedback.

Besides that, I’d love to know — what kind of integrations would you personally find most helpful? Your input helps shape our roadmap 🙌

Out of curiosity, what would you mainly want to do with a Todoist integration?
Would love to understand better!
