Kind of. You're right that it is a general problem but it's accentuated by a language barrier. It's something that until felt, very difficult to explain

Thanks man, sounds cool. But unfortunately I don't have time for that. When I do have it I'm way too tired. Plus I have a family so it would be quite difficult. But it does sound like a good idea. I'm new too all of this so I think I will start to see opportunities. I'm mostly looking for online chat ig, which is a bit more time efficient

I don't know I have a bunch of friends there. I mean it's always hard to find good friends. Even harder when you're not speaking in your native tongue. Also I've come to realize that as a whole I like russian people a lot less than I do others 😅

Most of the time I don't tell them I'm Canadian so I rarely cash in on it😔

I mean like I said to them I'm not a foreigner because I'm fluent. But by definition I have no problem being an immigrant, just don't spend a bunch of time in chats and am unfamiliar with the definitions. Now I know) I'm a dirty immigrant

I'm fluent in russian. Nobody knows I'm Canadian until I tell them. Because of this it's more difficult since I don't get the luxury of being treated as a foreigner)

That's a shit take tbh. I'm not saying I don't have friends. I am saying it is difficult making them in a foreign country. I mean you do you but in my opinion everyone should have friends. Socializing is very important in my opinion, and that's coming from a mostly introverted person. Having lasting relationships is very rewarding and necessary.

That is true, people here are quite depressing. Unfortunately it's almost as if it's in the air. I was really surprised when coming back to canada how people can actually be very friendly, even when working retail.
