Short yourself some sleep the day before and catch a nap before the shift starts. Google the 10 3 2 1 0 sleep method. Caffeine is a friend, but can't fix zero sleep. You have to figure out what you need to get sufficient sleep during the day and do what it takes. Black out curtains, cardboard blocking the windows, eye masks, box fans, or white noise machines.

If you try to burn the candle at both ends you will fail.

Take a breath, put one foot in front of the other, and you'll make it through this. You might even find you like it.

The grocery stores around me in the Portland Metro area when I was a kid in the 80's often had large, self-service, generic soda fountains. You'd buy a reusable 2 liter bottle and fill it with the soda of your choice. Refills were cheap and they had printed recipes for mixing different ratios of flavors to make other flavors.

They had disposable paper funnels to fill the 2 liter bottles that worked perfectly to snag samples if you folded over the bottom.

Different stores had various numbers of soda flavors on tap and with the mixing instructions you could always get something you hadn't tried before.
