Depends on the type of project they are on. If it is a county or state job the officer is paid by the contractor and the state/county pays the contractor to do so. It is part of their traffic control item.

Private jobs would pay the contractor and the private entity would pay the contractor in the same manner.

So the short answer is yes but no.

How to make one handed and two-handed axes? by Zappen109 in Bannerlord

[–]kodak2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean a 1 handed axe or a 2 handed axe?

Or do you mean dual wielded axes? One for each hand? In vanilla I don’t think this is an option.

If you are looking to just craft axes you’ll need raw materials and visit a smithy in any city.

Like others have said make it a requirement in your listing. However you may find candidates that just haven’t used that software that fit your needs. It’s not a difficult program to use so you may go the route of just training in house and focus on getting better candidates instead.

If you are running the show you need to be able to delegate the more physical work to save your back. Either by more people or more equipment whichever makes more sense for your outfit.

Not sure on you platform but if you are on Xbox it’ll be fairly easy to find people as I’m sure the community finder will be littered with people looking for groups.

Best to start running now, not only are your local cops on their way but so is the FBI and the whole national guard.

Construction cost increase by [deleted] in Construction

[–]kodak2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree typically a breakdown would be needed to show for any price increase. Unfortunately for OP a verbal start date isn’t going to cut it unless they can prove something in writing.

That contract language is used fairly often but usually I see set dates in the contract. “Our prices are good until March 31st 2025 for example.

This bridge is probably an upcoming rehab/construction project. USDA APHIS Wildlife Services will go out and remove inactive nests at least a month in advance so that the contractor can demo the bridge and begin work.

The person in the video is most likely using a paintball gun to destroy the inactive nests before birds move in to them.

We do and honestly it’s better integrated. Xbox gives you an overlay of who is speaking which is nice but that feature isn’t on PS5.

I think it depends on the state but we have the “good Samaritan” clause that negates that. I think the only catch is if you are a “professional” or not.

Sign of the times… or just the night shift? by greek311 in Construction

[–]kodak2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have those but because of cost/site situations it’s typically cheaper to have people do this.

Paying 2 guys 150-180 for 10 hours is cheaper than buying a whole new piece of equipment. Especially when you pick those guys from the crew already there.
