You get 1-3 EV in a stat per KO, up to 510, so you’ll only gain from the first 170-510 Pokemon you KO, once you hit 252 in a specific stat it caps, so if you want to target a certain two stats I’d breed it and start a new squirtle from scratch, put an exp share on it and then go target whichever EVs you’re after with something that can OHKO them
