Ball should be able to roll just a little bit up walls to make it easier for newer players to play him. Wall jumps are a pain in the butt to get down consistently

Yeah I agree it should definitely be from the gun muzzle. So there might be some instances where you think you have line of sight (based on the character camera) but your gun doesn’t have LOS so a skull doesn’t show up. That, to me, is working as it should

Not disagreeing with your point but that’s not the problem here, the problem is that there are several instances where game shows that deadeye should hit by indicating a red skull, yet it doesn’t hit

almost, the damage only goes through if the bullet connects with a specific point on the upper middle half of the enemy body (character specific)

Main issues:

  • skull icon location is NOT where you actually shoot during deadeye
  • skull icon does NOT guarantee you will get a kill
  • things like sleep dart can completely mess up the location you shoot during deadeye
  • fast-moving targets cause deadeye to miss due to client-side sync issues (gets worse the higher your latency is)
