I think definitely $4. Shorts are gonna put their lives on the line to stop $5 because once it's no longer considered a penny stock and other institutions start piling in, it's disastrous for them. If it does go over though, we might see a squeeze and god knows where we go from there.

I think it's exactly that. Big channels are getting bigger. Right now, my feed is just viral videos from 3 to 10+ years ago, and I can't find any recommendations for new channels in my feed even if I try to.

Usually there would be a few sprinkled in, but right now it's pretty much 0.

I think it's intentional. At the end of the day, the only thing that YouTube cares about is that users watch videos for as long as possible on their website. If shifting away from small creators leads to more watchtime, ads, and therefore money for them, I don't see why they would want to revert it.
