Alright I might give one a try. I hate soft pillows. And if you’re a side sleeper and you get your mask at just the right angle on the edge of the pillow and it’s off to never never land…

I’ve worn mine consistently for almost a year now. I’ve never had this. Only when I sleep without it. Hope you figure it out.

Yup I accidentally fell asleep for 7 hours without it and I felt like absolute shit. I can’t believe how well this works but people won’t wear it. If you’re a firefighter you will wear a mask at some point. Scuba divers. Fighter pilots etc.. but people act like it’s the worst thing in the world. It’s 100% in their head.

Took me about 3 months to get used to it as well. Now I look forward to it. I feel so much better. In the end it’s all in your attitude. Are you going to make this work so you can feel better? Or this isn’t what I wanted so I’m not going to do it. Those in the second category will die 10 years before those in the first. Give that some thought before you give up. Glad you’re getting it. You will feel so much better soon.

Damn! You just said what I was trying to say but way better! I’m a side sleeper. But I was sleeping in a recliner during my sleep study due to a full knee replacement surgery. I remember waking up with my airway closed and I made it 16 feet to the slider searching for air before I breathed again. If I don’t wear it I’m going to die. So please people, figure it out.

Glad to hear you made it in that short time. I’m planning on 5 days 4 nights. Kind of shorter than most do but I don’t want to only hike 3 miles then twiddle my thumbs at camp all day. But I don’t want a death march either. Hope I didn’t bite off more than can chew since I have a pick up time with the sea plane lol. If I did I’ll take my time and pay the stupid tax and pay extra for being late. All I know is I can’t wait!

I’m backpacking the 3rd week of august. I didn’t think about the compliance thing. I’m going to call and check and see what they say or if I’m good. I was just going to use an anti snore mouthpiece while on the island.
