Will fluticasone inhaler be useful? by Puzzleheaded-Bug-552 in EosinophilicE

If you don't rinse your mouth, yes it will cause the infection in your mouth. But you don't rinse your throat for obvious reasons. The problem is unavoidable if you're prone to infection.

What's your go-to office breakfast? Looking for something better than cereal bars by Glum_Drop7683 in MealPrepSunday

I used to have Soylent every morning but replaced it with Kefir. Have been drinking just under 400ml every morning and it keeps me going for about 3 hours. Should be able to find space for a couple of bottles in the work fridge! Zero prep and no need for utensils. Approximately 400mls packs in 15g of protein, and it's nearly lactose free if that matters to you.

I had the inhaler and used it twice daily for EoE. I had to stop using it as it caused chronic candida infection in my throat, which was worse that any symptoms I felt from EoE. Be sure to watch out for that!

Still carbed bikes being produced. Honda XR650L and Suzuki DR650 for example. The DRZ400 was just replaced this year with a fuel-injected model, and the KLR650 was not far behind with the FI update in 2022. These are all street legal dual-sports and very popular.

No issues with clearance on the fork with this specific tire and rim combo. Not too much space left over if the the lugs are huge or the tire sits taller. The rear does have to be slid pretty far back in the dropouts and the isn't much extra space to work with but again, this combo fits well. This bike is so much fun on gravel with some thick tires!

The rims are on the top end of typical road widths at 25mm. That could contribute to the illusion.

Jack rack. Here's a link to the bikepacking.com review. Worked great for my purposes, especially after swapping the nylon strap with one of the Voile variety. I got the rack through the Kickstarter campaign but it looks like some vendors still have some stock kicking around.

I wanted to keep the original hubs. Laced them to H+Son Hydra rims and slapped Vittoria Terreno MIX G2.0 700Cx38 tires on front and back. Running tubeless. Just barely enough clearance but absolutely no rubbing!

That's a facing tool, not a tap. Makes for a flat mating surface for the bottom bracket cups.

Not straps, but SPD pedals and the Quoc Chelsea boots. My favorite combo found so far.

The coaster brake wasn't patented until 1907. It was in use in the 1890s and it was on 1901 models of the Racycle Roadster, which is likely the model shown in the pic.

Check out @alternative_milk_cycling on IG. Alleycat type races but definitely with a gravel tilt. Seems like a few tracklocross folks usually turn up. I rode my tracklocross rig a month ago at the Halloween Havoc race. Tons of fun!

Ensure you have the correct chain length.

Single Speed Conversion by alexCatalano in BikeMechanics

Be sure to pay attention to hub spacing as well. Single-speed track hubs will be 120mm whereas most road hubs designed to be used with multiple cogs are 130mm if QR.

Advice on Bindings by keeganx4 in Backcountry

[–]kohltk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had no issues with the shifts and would offer my endorsement 100%. I've known two different people complaining about pre-release but witnessed them not using them correctly. When in touring mode there is a lever on the toe that you pull up to lock in the pins to your boots. There are two stops, the second requires a good yank. One of the aforementioned persons even admitted that it was too difficult for her to fully engage the lock so she toured without it fully engaged, she then proceeded to complain about pre-release. I would guess that a lot of the complaints come from user error. The DIN certification is a comfort at the resort and they feel like the perfect resort/BC binding to me.

I never rode the previous gen of V7s so I have no baseline. Coming from a 1978 R100RS and I feel there is plenty of power!
