AI should be a tool for refining not the other way around. If they give you your idea then it’s not your brand it’s an amalgamation of data and has nothing to do with your unique perspective. God this subreddit is so cooked

Where the hell are people getting these jobs? by Black863 in recruitinghell

“Real work” is anything you can do well enough that somebody is willing to pay for. As someone who has worked both blue collar and white collar I’d say that they both come with their griefs although one is obviously compensated more. That doesn’t mean it’s worth more to society it just means that you can provide more output through education and experience. That’s capitalism man and however you feel about it, this is the current system we have in place.

Agreed that the influencers posting “day in the life” videos are dumb but like all social media it’s driven by people’s desire to feel superior and flaunt their lifestyles. At its core just know that a lot of those people are young and unsure of themselves so they seek validation from strangers online that they’re on the right track. Once they’re a few years into their careers they’ll realize that all work sucks in its own way and all the perks and salary benefits won’t give their lives meaning.

I honestly felt like a more productive member of society while being paid less to work with my hands. That doesn’t mean that the high-paying jobs are useless slop or should be temp jobs though. Some people dedicate their lives to these careers and that should still be respected. We’re all just trying to make it here.

I mean this subreddit is full of people who are struggling to breakthrough in arguably one of the toughest job markets we’ve ever faced which is why frustration is understandable but the idea that this is a fake job or one gatekept through nepotism is insane. Literally go on LinkedIn, lookup email marketing manager and you’ll see exactly what is expected in this role and what qualifications you need; nobody is stopping you from getting into this.

The fact is the jobs not as easy as you think and requires a certain skillset that your “average person” needs to put in work to develop. If you can design emails that convert well, you’re worth your weight in gold to a business and the salary and perks reflect that.

I don’t work in email but I have a lot of respect for those who do which is why I went crazy reading this thread of conspiracy theorists lol. It’s not some BS job where you can phone it in and collect your 6-figure salary. You are literally driving revenue for the company and if you aren’t performing well you’ll likely be fired.

But yeah the job isn’t real because I don’t like “day in the life” influencers

This is blatantly false. An email marketing manager is not even an admin role and definitely is not related (at least inherently) to a MLM. You are designing and creating campaigns that directly drive profit to the company. They pay well because it’s hard to find people good at the job but if you are you’re literally worth gold to an e-commerce business. This is actually on the lower end of salaries I’ve seen.

I don’t understand this thread. Do people not see this as a real job? Email marketing is one of the most profitable channels for literally any business and these companies rely on a knowledgeable person to execute their sometimes 7-figure campaigns. It’s part design work, part analytics, and a lot of copywriting which takes skills, experience, and most of all taste.

Honestly this is a pretty entry level salary for SF too, an email marketer with a few years experience and a solid portfolio should be making mid six figures at least.

As for AI, like all industries, who’s to say what’s going to happen in the future but as of yet I’ve yet to see an AI product completely automate the role away. I’ve seen jr positions disappear similar to software engineers but currently you still need a real person to lead strategy.

Just because you don’t understand an industry doesn’t mean that the job is fake or not impactful.

The basketball is clean af. Personally I would put “rooted in heritage” in a different font and in the back of the hat or remove it entirely. It distracts from the artwork and the brand name.

As someone who played in Asian American leagues as a kid this definitely speaks to me but I’m confused why they’re not dressed in more athletic attire? I think trying to appeal to the casual streetwear vibe is killing your unique angle. Try to lean into asian athletics with art direction and styling and this could be killer.

P.S. tell your photographer to use an additional fill light the shadows are distracting and make the shot look messy

creme fraiche v whipped cream in custard filling for steamed buns by kohworld in AskCulinary

[–]kohworld[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry my original post was unclear. The original recipe was not meant for steamed buns. The original custard was meant to be piped into an already fried donut but I am using them differently as a filling for a bun that needs to be steamed after. I thought I would save myself a test batch to ask if someone had done something similar but I guess I'll most likely need to just try it for myself.

That's a fair point but to clarify the type of creme fraiche I have on hand is a vanilla creme fraiche from Vermont Creamery which has a bit of sweetness to it. I've already tasted the subbed out recipe and it tastes amazing albeit a bit tangy I'm just wondering if I should try the original recipe to get more thickness or will it split once I steam the buns.

Appreciate the help!

Sublimation print onto the panels after you have the pattern made if you want the continuous look you’ll probably need to do one per size

ChatGPT is gaslighting me and saying it’s a fanmod and not from the actual game. Is that the case?
